Popped past one Sunday morning to grab a takeaway brunch, and it was so WORTH IT! Lovely selection of waffles and toppings. I was very pleased with the gluten free option - and it was delicious! Crispy and fresh. Got coffee while we waited and it was yum! Grabbed our four waffles and headed home. We got the 'Chocolatarian', the 'MyVeryBerry Crush', the 'Mex-I-Can' & the 'Double Cheese'. Very happy with each of them - the savoury and sweet were equally as good and I highly recommend giving this underrated waffle place a try. THEY ARE OPEN for business!! They do not close at 9PM anymore - under Lockdown Level 4, July 2021 - they are closing at 17h00. I hope the manager/owner of the store starts updating their Instagram and Google details...
Pretty sweet spot. Decided one morning when we woke up we wanted waffles, so drove through to here to test it out. Pretty good deal. They have nice R5 specials for coffee including a waffle or other way around. The staff were friendly. Blueberries were lacking in my waffle. My hot chocolate was nice.
If you have been around Bryanston recently, chances are you have seen the bright yellow signs and posters of Sticky Waffle. The brightness just pulls you in, and we couldn't resist! Sticky Waffle is a small little cafe that serves ... you guessed it... waffles and also, artisan coffee. We tried both a savoury and sweet option with coffee, to get the whole experience and all. The savoury Loaded Waffle Lunchbox is a waffle toasty with some secret cheese combo inside that you can add fillings to, unfortunately they don't have bacon sad face so we just opted in for tomato, onion and rocket. We were a bit confused as it wasn't nice and crunchy like a toasty but a little bit soggy and it also lacked some necessary flavour. The Original Sticky Waffle was a win as it was light and fluffy with syrup to tickle the sugar monsters in us. Coffee was a 50/50. We got one tasty coffee and over-extracted-I-can't-drink-that-coffee coffee. You need lady luck on your side when ordering coffee here. Okay, so they don't focus on service as you go to the counter to order everything and pick up your coffee when they shout your name. We have to add that the teller was very friendly, taking his time to explain everything to us and he also did bring our food to where we were sitting when it was ready. The place is a bit small and overcrowded and has more of a takeaway-ish vibe. We think they can definitely expand on their seating arrangements as no one wants a cold waffle. The value really caught our attention as you can get a R5 waffle when you buy a coffee, till 10am daily. You know what they say the early bird catches the... waffle? The other options are also very inexpensive, R45 will get you one waffle with two toppings and a cuppa Joe... not bad, not bad at all. The place is still relatively new so we are excited for where they are headed as every city needs a great waffle house and Sticky Waffle has some serious potential. My second time at Sticky Waffle, I drive 30min just to get some of their amazing Waffles , it's light fluffy and very delicious sweet or savoury, the Team they have in Bryanston is just amazing ,friendly and always goes the extra mile. Best Waffles in JHB

Good waffles and service. The base is light and not too think which is amazing and there’s a variety of toppings.
If you understand savoury waffles & you like/want more than just ice cream & syrup then come on down! It's an American style waffle place... staff are super sweet & helpful.
Great service, friendly staff. Waffles are delicious. They are not super thick so you can enjoy the whole waffle. You have an option to build your own or choose 1 of their preset options. A variety of different waffle bases to choose from including vegan and gluten free options.
Not the best waffle I've had, but not the worst either. I feel that Rocommamas or even Milky Lane offers better value for money.
Amazing. Honestly one of my favorite treats. Every single time I go the waffles are spectacular. Light and spongy but not soggy. My favorite there is the fully loaded choc chip waffle with Nutella. It never disappoints and my sweet tooth is always satisfied. But they do have other amazing things besides sweet. Like have you ever heard of a lunch waffle? They're delicious and you can fill them with a variety of fillings, my fave being cheese and tomato and basil. All around best treat stop.
