So dissapointed with the service. With the rains in the past few week somehow water got into my unit, that's not the worst part. The shocking part was how they acted like it is not a big deal and distanced themselves from the situation. If you're considering self storage, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Good service and happy pleasant staff. Only to happy to help. Worth a visit if your looking for self storage. A little expencive to move in and a deposit i think is a little cheeky. Oh and you have to pay for your move in but doesn't include labour.. Hmmmmm.!!
Thank you to Lebo at the Midrand branch. I received friendly and exceptional service. The whole process was hassle free and she assisted me with ease, answering all my queries where needed. Excellent service!
Pamela from Stor-age Midrand provided me with a great service, The moving van wasn’t available on that day because I had booked late however Pamela managed to get the Van to move my things to the storage and all paperwork was done online which made the process easier.
Staff is friendly enough, willing to help and open to customer feedback. They gave me a prorated rate because I moved in mid-month. Unit dimensions advertised online don't always match what they actually have available. You find this out at the last minute. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, they offered to give me a slightly larger unit at the same price as the smaller one, to make up for the issue, which is a plus. I also wish they were as eager to help you move in seamlessly as they are to make the sale. I had to delay my move by a day because of miscommunication that could have been avoided. I also bought all my packaging from them. Boxes and goods protectors are good, but they sold me a tape that barely sticks to anything. Units are neat and decent but not spotless, so make sure your valuables are well covered so they don't get any dust on them. Overall, I'm not convinced about this place. I think the staff is trying to give good service and sometimes succeeds but there are many misses as well. Not sure I would recommend them, really. Maybe if I had gone to their more expensive branches, the service and product would have matched the brand's great reputation.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Lebo as well as Sasha for assisting me today. I have been storing my stuff with you guys for 2 years now. I had personal issues and certain circumstances that led me to give my notice a few days late. You are both superstars and I am eternally grateful for the service I received today. There’s nothing more that I can say except for I have received nothing but great service from day 1 and walked away with a smile on my face today. THANK YOU. Just thank you for understanding my circumstances. I will continue to hold the company’s name in high regard and continue to recommend you to everyone I know.
Wow!!! Secure, Convenient and the best service I have received ever! From the start with Matthew and Pamela to the Saturday Morning I came in ... I got THE best service from a lady called Lebo who helped me and made me feel assured .This lady is a gem! Absolutely has my HIGHEST recommendation!
Bad customer service! One person doesn't know what the other is doing, hired another unit from these guys and I asked for it to be included on our standard invoice, one says yes, and assured me i could deliver the next day, when arrived the other told me no i had to pay upfront now. Made my delivery guys wait until i showed immediate proof of payment, then I received a sarcastic email back. Good to see we still have bad customer service & some things remain the same, of course they will deny this but cest'la'vie.
I canceled my contract with them and gave notice. When I asked if the debit order was canceled, they confirmed it was yet the debit order is still running in my account. I have tried to email and call the Midrand office but they do not respond to my email requests. They still have not sent me my deposit as well.
Very friendly and efficient service. From calling the branch then going in to sort out the paperwork, I was very impressed with both the call centre and branch. Gertrude helped me at the Midrand branch and gave excellent service. I found Stor-age to be the cheapest and they have insurance whereas many storage places don't offer insurance.
