Perfect place to start our trip after a long haul flight! Very professional and friendly staff! The driver met us at the airport and then we bumped into him again a week later at Constitution Hill Johannesburg and had a good wee yarn with him. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Food was good but not top notch. Great facilities. We made use of the pool, gym and pool table. We felt very safe the whole time we were there.

This place is amazing!! I paid for a coworker to stay here when passing through Jo-Burg and she loved it. Then, I needed a place for the night so I decided to come here and so glad I did. A little corner of peace and quiet and 5 minutes from the airport. It feels like a vacation spot, not an 'airport hotel.' The low price doesn't seem real considering the high quality of the furnishings such a comfortable bed! and the very pleasant staff. I have no negative comments and will definitely be passing the recommendation off to other colleagues.

Perfectly situated hotel, close to Johannesburg airport, to start a South-African journey. Personal pick-up at the airport in the evening. Friendly welcome, possibility to have some "late evening" drinks in the bar. Although we booked 2 bedrooms, we got a "family room" for 4 2 adults & 2 youngsters, but the room was fine, with a double bed and 2 single beds. Clean room. Nice "cold" & "hot" breakfast and discovered during "daylight" the small but nice garden. However it was quite busy in the morning, we could count on a personal shuttle transport back to the airport to pick-up our rental car. Many thanks.

Located near Johannesburg Airport, Sunrock feels in a different world far from the hustle and bustle of urban Africa. Shuttle service to and from the airport is provided with no charge. The grounds are immaculate with a variety of colorful flowers trees. The Harley themed bar is quite nice, but the highlight of my stay was the massage! The absolute BEST ever. .. spoil yourself with one. You won't regret it.

Super cute motel located about 7 minutes from Johannesburg airport. After we turned off the freeway the area was very sketchy but this location is gated. The staff were super nice and dinner and breakfast was great. I only stayed for the night since I was flying out again the next day. I added this to my list though in case I am back to this location in the future.

Sunrock hosted my wife and I at both the beginning and end of our visit to South Africa. The entire staff was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Airport transfers were seamless, the food was excellent, and the rooms were clean and inviting. We loved the calm, quiet atmosphere.Rooms: 5/5

If you stay here, do yourself a favour and book a massage or facial with Landi! Best facial with massage I have had. The only disappointment was that there was no vegetarian option at dinner. Susanne was a great help and the room was nice.

I stayed here for 2 days after my holiday in Southern Africa and it was a little bubble of paradise. The staff was absolutely the best! Very accommodating and always happy to help. I had 2 massages, which were amazing. The buffet that they offer each night was also delicious! All in all, a perfect experience! The only thing I didn’t like - I think it’s very passé - are the taxidermy on the walls in the main entertainment room giraffe, kudu, etc.

Absolutely brilliant service, food and value. Comfortable rooms, very safe and well organized free airport transfers !

Amazing staff, pool, bar, restaurant, spa and rooms. Only downfall was no airconditioner. We came back for another stay. Very close to airport and they also have an airport shuttle available.Rooms: 4/5
