The rooms were absolutely beautiful!! The staff was amazing!! They weren't just nice. They made me feel right at home. They were super sweet and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I will definitely return and I'll be staying with them again.Rooms: 5/5

Staff is really nice! Shuttle from and to the airport is for free. Walls are dirty, shower was overflowing, pillow wasn't white but rather brown/white. It's located in a street/area that I wouldn't consider safe. Definitly not a 4 stars accommodation in my eyes.

Perfect location close to airport. I sent a WhatsApp on arrival and their lovely driver took me at 23:00 to my hotel door and carried my heavy bags. The power was out in Jhb. But they supplied a generator. So a nice hot shower and clean linen sheets. The staff were lovely and Josie at reception was great. I booked a night for my return.

Awful. The room was dirty, very badly insulated, under-equipped, the shower leaked, you had to body check the doors to open them, there was a machete ! in a closet. The breakfast was more than minimalist, and the service was catastrophic, we waited 30 min for our scrambled eggs and the coffee never came back. In addition, the neighbourhood looks very suspicious. We left after one night eventhough we had a second one booked. To be avoided.

A lovely comfortable stopover in Johannesburg. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was great. A free shuttle to and from the airport is an added bonus. Great for late night arrivals. Would highly recommend this place.Rooms: 5/5

It was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of South African birds, in a very comfortable bed in an attractive room. There is a lovely garden to walk in and it's hard to believe that you're in the middle of Kempton Park! The staff are very friendly and helpful and Mthunzi has extensive knowledge of South African birds and animals, so make time for a chat with him.

Stayed here as part of a package holiday with secret escapes costing over £3k. Close enough to airport and in direct line of flight, windows thin so you’ll be woken up and kept awake all night. Paint sloshes on the floor and no plug in the sink. I didn’t chance the shower. We had a five hour journey to Kruger after our stay and because breakfast starts at 7:30 we missed it and were informed a packed breakfast would be supplied, at 7am we were told it had been forgotten so we had a huge journey with nothing but the crisps we happened to have. Not even a glass of water with the cling film covered dinner. The hotel compound was secure which is good because the area the hotel is situated in is not safe enough for two female travellers to risk walking in. Staff were very helpful and friendly, it’s not their fault and they’re doing the best with what they have. If we’d paid youth hostel prices we’d have accepted the standards but you don’t spend that much on a holiday to be placed in a hotel of this standard.

We booked online and arrived to find no record of the booking on the site. Staff on the site tried to manage this, but the manager basically badmouthed the owner to try and pass the buck. The owner's lack of service when unable to provide us with the type of room we originally booked saw us checking out on the same day we checked in - at OUR expense. A disappointment from start to finish.

We made a booking on Monday for a one night stay on Friday. They told us to make payment ASAP to book our rooms because it gets really busy on weekends. As we arrived on Friday afternoon, the receptionist informed us that she came in for work at 15:00 that day. She didn't know what was happening.We had to show her our proof of payment. She organised us small and not so nice rooms.The room i was in had hand marks on the walls.The whole wall was practically dirty. We asked for breakfast in the morning as we had already paid for it and she said breakfast starts at 06:00. At 06:00 we were up and ready for breakfast but there was no breakfast. The reception was closed and the receptionist did not answer her phone. We left without eating breakfast. My experience was that it was very unorganized
