Description

Originally founded by fluke in 2007, this little rabbit farm grew from strength to strength. What started as a hobby had become a family business which is one of the biggest suppliers of pet rabbits in KwaZulu Natal.

"We are a family run business that specializes in all things bunny.Please note that due to the outbreak of RHDV2 in South Africa, we have had to put strict biosecurity measures in place and are no longer open to the public for visits.Our journey into the wonderful world of rabbits started way back in 1992.We are registered, accredited, ethical breeders and are always available for advice.We manufacture and supply a wide range of rabbit accessories, toys and hutches. Pictures and pricing are on our website.All of our products have gone through a strict quality control process by our own discerning bunnies and have been given a firm thump of approval. "

Our beautiful Willow was born here. Sinae is helpful and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about rabbits. Please support Bunny Farm and not the pet stores when thinking about getting a pet bunny.
Shirae is always so helpful, we always get our bunny's food supplies from her. The bunnies she breeds are purebred, we can't wait to adopt another bun from her.
Wonderful experience dealing with the Bunny Farm. I bought a pair of rabbits from them. They gave great advice.
A few days ago I messaged Shirae on Instagram with regards to my bunny who was displaying symptoms of gi stasis. It was a Sunday and vets were not open, the ones that were open, were not able to treat my bun. She gave me amazing advice that improved the state of my bun and helped him through the rest of the day until his vet visit the next morning. She also messaged me today to check up on him. I have no idea and would not want to imagine where he would be without Shirae's advice. I'm eternally grateful to her and I'm sure my bunny is as well. That bunny farm is a caring and knowledgeable place that I would recommend to anyone for all their bun needs. They are committed to ensuring the health and happiness of all bunnies which is truly admirable
I love taking my rabbit here, she always gets treated with so much love. You can really see the passion that Shirae has for all things rabbit related and her experience and knowledge are vast. She is always happy to help and give advice, which is truly awesome!!! I would also recommend the rabbit castles if you're looking for some new toys/entertainment for your bunny.
We are fortunate having That Bunny Farm in SA. Excellent service. Care and passion evident in the quality of their products. The mystery bag exceeded all our expectations and was such fun opening with our bun.
Shirae is very knowledgeable about all things bunny related. From providing sound advice to yummy treats which our bun loves. Being first time bunny parents was a bit scary at first but with Shirae's help we have all adjusted well, bunny included.
Shirae is extremely sweet and offers a lot of advice on how to take care of your bunny. She knows everything about bunnies. I recommend you buy everything you need for your bunny on her website, she has everything that your bunny will require. They also do general health checks, nail clipping... I highly recommend you getting your bunny from her, she is a registered breeder and she takes health and behavioural issues into account. Also especially if you want a purebred dwarf, many people claim the bunny is a dwarf and then you end up with a huge bunny which isn't necessarily a bad thing but if you don't like huge bunnies then I suggest you get your bunny from Shirae.
I have to post again about what an angel Shirae is. She saved 2 of my bunnies lives one was in G.I Stasis when he was a baby and the other had complications when she was spayed. Even the veterinarian could not pick up what was wrong with my bunny. But Shirae has always been so helpful and incredibly sweet. I highly recommend you take your bunny to her. I cannot thank her enough!
This is an awesome place. These people are not just breeders and seller, they are actually passionate about what they are doing. Once you buy a bunny you become part of the family. They are always ready to give you advice, lend you a helping hand and they are even into rescuing and re-homing these little guys. You've got to love them!
