I really love and enjoy this place. I went there for the first time and it was so amazing. The service is great and the food was out of this world. It is great for families and also for dates. The stuff is super helpful and friendly. Different sitting areas for different vibes and it beautiful too. Great for pictures as well.

Totally loved the lunch there. Food was excellent. Large variety of menus. Very cozy place. Lovely staff. Price higher than normal but really good stuff.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been in my life. Went for Sunday breakfast and the ambiance was exactly what I expected. They have an ice cream spot inside One thing that made me even more happy is how generous they are with the avocado.

Excellent food and service. This restaurant has a beautiful setting and has a manager that provides a very personal experience. I will definitely return. The Codfather Sandton is my new number one spot for spare ribs, displacing Pigalle Bedfordview, which now comes in a very close second.

The codfather doubles as a lounge and restaurant. I visited on multiple occasions over a few days and enjoyed drinks and excellent roasted/baked fish. The outdoor seating is great in the evenings for conversation and drinks; indoor seating is optimal for dinner. The prices are moderate and affordable with great table service by the hosts and hostesses. The owner walks around, greeting guests and making small conversations. I rate this lounge A+!

They carter both sea food and carnivore. I had Cod father signature dish, my one friend had the Mozambique prawns and the 2nd friend went for the oven charred grill chicken. It's a fancy, classic and not cheap meal but the taste really worth the price

Food is always on point, the best seafood in JHB but even the red meat is really good. The sides are basically full portions, more than enough to share amongst 2 people. We had the salmon which was amazing, meat platter for 2 & the oreo cheesecake for dessert Food: 5/5

It was such a great experience at the Morning side branch. We went there for my Birthday on 2 October. We were escorted to our table which was in the middle in a loud area we politely requested a different table, and within seconds the manager of the establishment took us to our new table which was in a bit more quieter area. The food was outstanding!!! I had the Mini Codfather Sushi platter and my partner had Prawn Rissotto. I am a major Foodie! And the food did not dissapoint. Compliments to the kitchen staff. And my cocktail was nice and strong and very tasty. I had a kiwi and coconut cobbler 10/10 Our server gave us such good service and had really good etiquette throughout the night!!! He went the extra mile and brought me a birthday cake and even sang for me one man alone. I wish I could remember his name but I won't forget his face. 10/10 for that waiter 10/10 for the food 10/10 for ambience 10/10 overall for the whole experience. Would definitely recommend and definitely go back for the vibes

Thank you William and your incredible team for your genuine hospitality and always making the place feel like home The food is ALWAYS impeccable and so divine. I have never received a bad meal once. To name a few of my favourites: definitely all of the salmon sushi dishes, the prawn tempura, creamy garlic mussels, the super fresh seafood platter and the delicious dessert options. If you have a sweet tooth then you will absolutely love the Oreo cheesecake. Decadence is an understatement. The malva pudding is simply sublime. The tiger’s eye sushi is in my opinion the best I’ve had so far. Keep up the amazing service. I will always sing praises and pray for goodness and blessings over this establishment as they simply are the best

Excellent seafood and nice wine selection. Had a great time. Cannot go wrong if you are in the area !
