Absolutely shocking, meals were served 20 minutes apart for the same table, manager was more insterested in dancing with girls than anything, waiter sat on a chair and made us come to him to pay. Would not recommend. Food is average, don’t waste your money!Food: 1/5

A crowded space with very average food, definitely missed the fine part of the dining. We had a lovely waitress that made the experience nice, same goes for the rest of the staff which were friendly. Would recommend for partying/drinking and not dining as the place gets really full, loud and turns into a club in a restaurant-with great sing-along music

Food was good but over-priced. Service was slow, inconsistent. Good vibe... busy, bustling. Seems that their main interest is to get you drunk and dancing Vegetarian options: Limited Kid-friendliness: Not for kids/families

I celebrated with friends an impending nuptial. Bacherolete vibes and was warmly greeted from entry with a level of service that one would expect from an establishment with fine dining in its description. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding. The vibe was the right amount of class meets elegance. And was fully impressed as someone that usually does not frequent such places. It is super important to book as I saw first hand how busy this place can get. I would also recommend looking fierce and fabulous as this place is one of those places where you want to be enjoying the soft life as deliciously as possible

If I could give 0 stars I would. My friend and I booked a table a month in advance, we followed up on the booking a few days before we were due to go just to ensure all was well-this was confirmed and we were reassured our table was booked. When we landed in Cape Town from the UK we’d received an email saying our table had been cancelled due to them not having confirmation on our end that we were still coming, despite confirming just a few days before. After speaking to a very rude lady on the phone I was told our table was still available and the booking had not been cancelled. We arrived at the restaurant and had been given the most beautiful table, we assumed this was because they’d messed us around so much earlier that day. Half way through eating our starters the manager insisted that we moved to another table as their regular 90 year old couple had requested the table we were seated at. We were made to feel so uncomfortable as management allowed this couple to stand in the middle of the restaurant glaring at us whilst we were trying to enjoy our food. Rather than seating the couple elsewhere we were told that we had no option but to wait for another table despite us already eating. This was the most unprofessional service I’ve ever received. We were forced to move whilst mid way through eating, the elderly couple should have been seated elsewhere. After about 20 minutes of waiting outside we were seated in the darkest part of the restaurant away from the atmosphere people visit this restaurant for. The manager insisted on relentlessly bringing shots, shots we didn’t want and at this point we just wanted to enjoy the meal. The owner of the restaurant asked my friend as she was passing our table how our experience had been, when she said it hadn’t been great she ran away, laughed and said over her shoulder “sorry about that ha”. She was obnoxiously rude and clearly only interested in positive feedback. We were made to feel unworthy of being in the restaurant and like a total inconvenience. After reading reviews previously about how the owner has encouraged discrimination and segregation I had a hunch this would be a poor experience. The food was nothing at all special and only one cocktail was available in the evening. Our evening was totally ruined and we were left feeling incredibly disappointed after being excited for so long. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be treated like rubbish. Our waitress however was very nice and agreed the situation we were put in was totally unacceptable.

The dinner was really nice. The server was very caring, the food was tasty, the wine was good. We will definitely come back!Food: 5/5

Well Thursday night was always the festive night for years. Not tonight the music started so well then declined into a new age type evening. Very disappointing. The bill was the same and the experience was less than 20% of usual. Those was our 5th evening and our last. Don't waste your money.

Had the most amazing experience here, lovely evening and fantastic service. Staff had the perfect time to asl if the food is good not like other places that ask while you have a mouth full of food. Every part of our 3 course meal was up to standard and more. That said we had been there more than once because of the food and service.

The management moved us from our table for a table that arrived 1 hour after their reservation. I think it’s bad form - if your later you at late! No excuses. I heard bad things about this place and thought I’d give it a try but unfortunately it lived up to my expectation of bad customer care and service. Discrimination is real

The space is so crammed. We were literally sitting on top of each other. The food was not good ,the drinks were watered down. Nothing positive to say about this place. Not going back.Food: 1/5
