I went in for a lunch on a Friday. It was a large lunch so a booking was made. There was ample seating in the restaurant at this time. The service was great and the waiters ensured our drinks were always topped up. I had the lamb cutlets with sautéed mushrooms and a cheese sauce. The cutlets were requested to be medium and was prepared according to my request. The portion size was very generous. The lamb could have had a bit more seasoning but did come across a little bland. When combined with the cheese sauce it was better but I would have preferred a better seasoning. The atmosphere was quite nice as this time and the table layout facilitated easy discussion.
The food was okay. Not bad, not great either. Grillhouse is renowned for its legendary steaks but it was cold and rainy, so I wanted a homey meal. Had oxtail, then Salad neither hit the spot. This place is beautiful, the ambience is to die for and the views are out of this world. The food was also delicious, very and I mean very filling portions. Both my friend and I had burgers I had the mushroom burger and she had the spicy burger. They were made to our liking and the food took 10 minutes as our waiter had promised! Had a great time, the only downside was that our waiter wasn't attending or checking up on us as we would have liked him to.
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Grillhouse in Sandton. We sat outside and saw the sun set. Beautiful. The food was very good, the drinks were nice and cold and the service was excellent. Parking was nearby, so that also ticked all the boxes. All in all, a very good experience.
I had fillet on the bone with chips and pepper sauce. It was delicious! The meat was spectacular and the sauce was perfect. Snails and halloumi were lovely starters to share. The rich, deeply wonderful New York cheese cake was fat and fulfilling. Portion sizes were good, others had ostrich and good looking side veggies. A definite go-to spot for a special occasion. Waiters were classy and knew their stuff. Loved the experience very much. I wish I had taken pics of the food but I was so hungry :
I was calling a lot of restaurants for a place for Christmas lunch and they were oind enough to say come early and u will get a table which we did .we arrived to a beautiful table got complimentary glasses of champagne the service was excellent our meal was delicious .it was everything a more including dessert .the waiter amd manager always checking to make sure u are ok a have everything u need was a bonus..will definately go back again .loved it
Grill house has been a favourite for our company's lunches and events. Nestled close to gautrain, sandton mall and the hub of businesses this is definitely a go to and keep coming back restaurant boasting beautiful views of sandton. The food is of great quality and the service professional and accommodating. Parking would probably need to be in sandton mall as I'm unsure of parking in this place itself.
Beautiful setup. I really loved the set up. A big shout out to the DJ, music was soulful, a mix of everything and I love love loved it. If you planing on a small event with friends, definitely a beautiful setup for that.
A great restaurant with awesome ambiance. The veg burger was really tasty. We also ordered a steak and it was really tasty as well. The ribs were also extremely juicy and tasty. We will surely come again for the food and ambiance.
Wow the place was amazing . The service was excellent to the top. The food was delicious . The vibes, the energy around wqs was exactly what i needed
