What an incredible place. Gary the owner totally hands on, All the staff are fabulous-Cat, Hennie, Michelle, Tom the chef food is mouth watering. You all rock. The dams are fully stocked. We camped. Very clean and neat. Every campsite has own kitchen and bathroom area. Helpfull and friendly staff. And we caught some Trout. Will definately recommend.Rooms: 5/5

We had an amazing stay at The Kingfisher Country Cottages. Its picturesque, lots to do and an extremely peaceful escape from the City. The hosts welcome you like family, specifically Hennie, Michelle and Andre. We are looking forward to going back.Rooms: 5/5

Beautiful location with the friendliest kindest and caring staff. Take time to learn about the history of surrounding area. If you want a little get away weekend then this is the place. Rooms: Rooms are beautifully kept, clean and create the right atmosphere for a holiday Walkability: Nothing in the lodge area is far away. And there is lots of place and paths to follow if you want to walk far Food & drinks: Food was ample and well priced.

We had 4 boxes to tick when we were deciding where to go for a few days away. Not too far from PTA. Fishing. Hiking. and allowed dogs. Kingfisher ticked all these boxes and more. The grounds are beautifully kept. The interiors are very basic but perfect for the type of place it is and considering dogs and kids are allowed. The units were serviced daily. There was a well stocked little shop as well as as restaurant and bar on site. The hike to the waterfall was lovely and we loved the majestic waterfall. The staff were amazing and they felt like friends by the time we left.

We had the most wonderful stay this weekend. The location is amazing with so much to do. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The walk to the bottom of the waterfall was our favorite. We will definitely be back soon.Rooms: 4/5
