Proper English pub. Loved the atmosphere and overall atmosphere. We came for the Sunday Carvery and it did not disappoint, still the only carvery place I know of where you can get Yorkshire pudding with your meal. Fresh, delicious and absolutely what you expect. Just a side note, English food is generally pretty plain and the real flavor is in the gravy and sauces. Do not expect to come for the most flavourful or unique flavour experiences that you have ever experienced. Also has Guinnes on tap which is why we have 5 / 5 stars.

Pub as good as ever. Traditional English pub. Beers cold and service was quick and good. Food is pub fare. No gourmet stuff here, this is sausage and chips territory. If your looking easy food well priced, as we say in Yorkshire "That'll do". You can watch the match too.

Definately book for the Sunday Roast. Delicious 3 Roast meat lunch, veg , cheese sauce and gravy, yorkie pudding and Roast potatoes all washed down with a few cold ones . 3 full diners and 3 drinks under 400 bucks

I actually felt like I was in England sitting in here!!! Lovely vibe ...... friendly people sat all around me as we watched the soccer/football games in the pub! Proper pub food is available with all the best beers on tap xD!!! I will definitely be returning and if you are a fan of the pub life in the UK or want to experience a small part of it without leaving South Africa then look no further!!! Can't wait to go back......

It's a nice looking clean bar lots tv screen for sports watchers older decent crowd so 4 out of 5 as a pub is a pub is a pub .... . Tucked away in a good suburban area. Food was ok I preordered the English style Sunday roast...nothing spectacular won't win any awards. Bland lacked salt over cooked meat but tasted ok did the job filled you up. Good pleasant staff. Nice to chill on a Sunday.

Traditional pub that makes you feel like a local the first time you're there. The Sunday roast lunch cannot be beat - but you have to book as it is a well-known secret.

Very friendly, neighborhood Irish pub, foods are so so+ just surprising beer prices are same with much much better places...

Stunning neighborhood bar. Great service and amazing staff. The barman George is a great server and looks after everyone. Defiantly will be back. Drink prices are good but they pushing the boundries if high. They could do well with a happy hour, always busy.

Best Guinness draft in SA, inexpensive good English pub food too!
