It's a compact mall that delivers what customers want rather than serving up more sameness. There's a wide variety of stores packed into a small space, and perhaps that means that there are some compromises in terms of what is available. On the other hand, it seems well-appoipnted and there is a hustle and bustle right until closing time. The wellness centre upstairs adds a unique touch. However, parking is on the pricey side and the parking area is not as well-lit as it could be. The mall could also benefit from a prominent info desk for customers.
Lovely Mall with many different places to visit and what was once a lovely CHECKERS in it. But it has become a total disappointment. The bakery and patisserie available has become a disaster. The staff attitude is disgusting. The Money Market is manned by sullen individuals. They mostly slumped on the counter and if LOTTO tickets required when supposedly there is load shedding the response is OFF LINE LOAD SHEDDING WHEN THE ENTIRE STORE IS LIT UP ELECTRICALLY. It appears they intensely concentrated on their 60 min delivery instead of IN STORE SHOPPERS. And pricing between shelves and checkout could be considered criminal. UPPER MANAGEMENT NEED TO TAKE URGENT AND DECISIVE CORRECTING MEASURES. This will certainly impact on their "New" store in Main Road Sea Point. And this attitude will lower the excellence of POINT MALL. Sad
Quite a nice addition to Sea Point Main Rd shopping district & experience. Lively & bustling with activity, with ample off-street, secure parking
Covid compliance. Spacious. Clean. Amazing customer service. Great vibe. Good security. Good range. Lifts. Sanitizers outside entrance and lifts and all the shops. Very pleasant experience. Trendy crowd. On a bus route. Underground parking. Best Checkers I've been to. Dischem Sportsmans Warehouse PnP Clothing Kauai Poké co Schoon Many other shops.. Just need a Woolies next :
Will never go there again, the centre is actually nice BUT you are being harassed by car cleaning guys to the point that you have to shout at them to get NO through their thick sculls - not pleasant at all
The point mall and is a great place to stop for groceries or for a quick bite they also have medical rooms upstairs and some accommodation in the building. Really pristine centre always clean and loads of underground parking, they even have a Sportsmans warehouse.
Terrible service at the Deli sandwhich area no staff available to help us for 10 minutes and when asked staff for someone they answer that there is nobody available and just carry on working like u dont exist
Clean spacious and well lit mall. The parking design is poor, and the layout very confusing making it difficult to get undercover parking. But the center has a comprehensive Checkers with lots of Kosher foods. The center has lots of shops offering free WiFi.
I was visiting Nedbank branch the Security and Nedbank staff are very kind and nice
New Sushi Restaurant, excellent chef, fresh tasty highly recommended
