We have just returned to the UK after the most fantastic holiday in the western Cape organised by JD. We stayed in some utterly wonderful hotels, ate in some fabulous restaurants and went on some amazing excursions all arranged by this very knowledgeable and friendly South African . The Travel Café is skillful at adding personal touches to an itinerary and making excellent suggestions that put them in a different league of tour operator altogether. Thank you JD
I cannot recommend The Travel Cafe enough. JD and his team planned a trip I will remember for the rest of my life. We traveled to South Africa for a friends wedding, so we spent some time in Cape Town, Franschhoek wine country, and then to Kruger for a Safari. All of the accommodations were absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. JD and his team were super helpful with restaurant recs and reservations throughout the entire trip. They even helped fetch my husband’s bag when it got left in a transport vehicle. I can’t say enough great things about them. We will def be back to Africa and we will be using them!
I cannot recommend The Travel Cafe enough - I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My expectations were blown out of the water and I’m so glad to have worked with JD & his team. We traveled to South Africa for a friends wedding, so we spent some time in Cape Town, wine country, and then to Kruger for a Safari. All of the accommodations were top notch as well as the activities/excursions we did. JD & team were super professional with great communication, which made our travels experience seamless and easy. It was so nice to have everything expertly planned out for us and to not have to worry about a thing, which let us relax and have an amazing time! I literally cried leaving on the last day because it was truly the best vacation ever!!!! Thank you to JD & team from the bottom of our hearts for a trip we will never forget.
A pleasure to work with JD, a professional who knows how to listen and make great suggestions. He made our 5-week South Africa travel an inspirational delight. A "sundowner" moment, we're still smiling.
OMG what a surprise ! The Travel Cafe is exactly what you are looking for when you want to travel: good itineraries, fantastic addresses, exclusive places. They recommended that I did snorkling with the seals and it was the best experience I have had in the water so far !! Same same for the sunrise on top of Lion’s head see the pictures! I would have never done that otherwise. I could not recommend more :.
JD and his team organised the honeymoon of a lifetime for us. For first time visitors to the Maldives, it can be difficult making the final decision where to stay as there are so many resorts. JD recommended that we go to Baros and we are so so happy that we did. He organised everything, and made sure we arrived early in the morning and flew back late at night. From the moment we met our transfer at the airport we were completely blown away by the incredible service, attention to detail and genuine caring and hard working staff. The whole trip was just incredible from start to finish. From having your own hotel butler, to receiving cool refreshing face-towels upon arrival at dinner or lunch to being pampered by friendly staff wherever you go on the island. The island itself is incredibly beautiful. We were so lucky to see turtles, sharks, manta rays and much more. The water is as good as it looks in the pictures and the beaches are perfect. The food is absolutely delicious at all of the restaurants with the highlight being our dinner at the lighthouse. JD and Francois had even organised a surprise for us, which was a private sunset cruise on a typical Maldivian boat - complete with bubbly and tapas! We were just blown away. It was an out of this world experience and we wish to be fortunate enough to become repeat guests at Baros. THANK YOU JD, Francois and team, for organising an absolute dream honeymoon!
My wife and I had a fantastic 3 weeks in South Africa thanks to a wonderful itinerary especially tailored for us by JD and Francois, it was just PERFECT. We have been to South Africa before but this trip was so much better due to the detailed planning, every item taken for us in advance! Travel Cafe gave us first class treatment and ensured we had the same for all our trip, they could not have done any more. What a beautiful country and thanks to Travel Cafe we got to visit great venues. PERFECT in every way, thanks JD and Francois for making our trip a truly memorable Adventure. Francois and JD are true hosts for your travels in SA. They have made a great itinerary for us, completely tailored to our style and wishes. From the very beginning all felt truly professional and personal at the same time. they listen very careful and present a great proposal, the timing was perfect, the places we went to were amazing and really everything is being taken care of. Also during our trip Francois and JD kept an eye on us, were always available for questions, additional reservations or tips. truly amazing service! We would certainly recommend their services, and whenever we go back to South Africa, we certainly call out to them first!
