"The Verandah Bistro is a delightful little eatery and the perfect place to pop in for breakfast, a light lunch or a coffee date. This little Krugersdorp coffee shop has been running since 2006 and from day one, the veranda itself has been a favourite attribute. Join us in one of our function areas, outside in the garden for some fresh air and some privacy from the busy city life, come inside on a rainy day for a cozy breakfast or lunch maybe just a cup of tea if you prefer or on a sunny day get together at everybody's favourite spot - outside on the verandah."

Such a great experience! The service is overall really good. Prices are a bit above average. You get a decent portions, but not overly packed. Butter chicken: 9/10 chicken breaking apart, spices exactly right Sunday lunch: 9/10 veggies especially good, meat literally falling apart Chicken schnitzel: 8/10 freshly made not frozen like other places, although only one piece which was a bit small Halloumi snack: 8/10 delicious and crispy, sauce fantastic but only 4 pieces Breakfast: 9/10 crispiest bacon I had in my life, pork bangers are OK Vegetarian options: They do have some vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: They don't have a specific area for kids to play, but outside there's some space for kids to move around Parking: Parking is a bit limited
First but not last visit here. Surprised by the huge portions. Good food. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed my last meal for 2022 at VerandahFood: 4/5
Always heard good things about this little gem and the hype is real. Food’s really tasty especially that Sweet chilli chicken onion & feta Tramezzini just wants you coming back for more. And then those cakes on display‍. Our waiter, Alvin, what an awesome friendly soul. Overall a lovely experience

What an excellent service and great place, first time I've always seen the place when driving pass. Loved the food ambiance and general customer service loved it.. Pitty that me and my friend were still enjoying each other's company when the waiter told us that they close early being a public holiday... we understood. I will definitely will be visiting again. For drinks we had nicely made passion fruit with lemonade, mains their hake,salad and chips and for dessert carrot cake with Hot chocolate called Sophia..so yummy
Friendly staff good food. Relaxed environment. Meals also prepared as per personal choice. Chef was great at this as hubby is vegetarian. Highly recommended. The manager is most friendly and makes you feel so welcomed.
Had lunch here today my bestie. Great outdoor seating especially in these covid times. We were warmly greeted and our waitress was super friendly and patient. We ordered hot chocolate and a cafe latte. Was good. The food was delicious. I ordered the home made fish cakes with a fresh side salad and she ordered the open sweet chillie chicken sandwich. Was amazing. We even ordered tramezinnis to take away cos we loved the food. The ambience was great. Lots of greenery outside and fresh air. Friendly manager. I would definitely recommend this place if u are looking for good quality food and a great garden setting.
