The Wild Coast Sun; Port Edward, Kwazulu Natal

Was warmly welcomed at the Hotel. Had a lovely stay, rooms are very nice and cleaning service is great. Had a problem at the gym. My husband and son went golfing and my 7year old daughter and I wanted to use the gym. I was asked to leave for there are no children under 18years allowed even attended by an adult. This issue must be revised, I cannot be expected to leave my daughter in the room on her own. I love setting a healthy example. It would have been nice if the indoor pool was heated especially during the winter months. Entertainment area had a nice upgrade and the kids loved it. WiFi service is weak and can maybe be attended to. We love going to Wild Coast Sun on a yearly basis.

Absolutely a place that has it all. Beautiful rooms, excellent service, delicious foods. I live in Ireland and can't wait to come back there. This wonderful member of your staff took such good care of our family. Thank you soo kindly.Rooms: 5/5

It is a wonderful hotel set on a beautiful stretch of beach. The bedrooms are good, beds are comfortable & the bathrooms have showers with a large bath. Disappointed that small items are not available like extra toiletries, extra water for the room. Had to collect our own ice from another floor, as room service does not cater for that. Other than that, we had an enjoyable time.

I absolutely love staying at the Wild Coast the beach is breathtakingly calm and beautiful!!! The rooms are super gorgeous and comfortable!!! The service and the staff are always welcoming!!! Only thing that we're certainly not happy about, was the fact that the tables are all in non smoking area and closes at 2am. There's no other place to purchase cigarettes other then the 2 machines that were out of order our entire stay.

Still a great place to go to, service is great, rooms are clean and great. Security can really be beefed up on the beach. You would expect it to be safe, but it's not. Had an uncomfortable experience which led to an altercation with a guy dressed in shabby clothing, no security to ensure safety of patrons and later saw him entering the resort through the water park entrance as it is not manned by security personnel. The safety of your patrons should be a priority.

It was great visiting this iconic coastal destination after years. It was my first time visiting as an adult. The drive was pleasant and the venue brought back many happy memories. A lot has changed but much is still the same. I miss the dark games section... which made you feel like you escaped into another world and everything seems smaller than I remember them. But it was still fun and the beaches were amazing.

Fabulous getaway. Highly recommend you going. It's a fabulous location which seems to transport you to some exotic beach location. This is an affordable holiday destination and it's suitable for the whole family. The extra activities are affordable and within walking distance of the rooms. The pool area is stunning and there is an indoor pool as well.

The entertainment was amazing, live entertainment with singers. Games areas and not just for the kids. The sky rail, a steel structure above you, for kids and adults wanting to be brave. Bowling for anyone with an exciting energy and fun. Many takeaway and sit down options to enjoy a good meal at decent prices and very familiar places. One would think inhouse with over priced meals, but not the case. A beach view from a section inside, and a huge multi layer koi pond with a walk way, for breath taking pictures. Still amazing as ever.

Love the upgrade to the arcade area. Just wish they had continued it to the bathroom. The ladies bathroom in the arcade area is in desperate need of some work. The toilets flushing mechanism is faulty. There was more than one toilet that constantly had water running. Same with atleast two of the taps. Even though they are closed, they leak water. The lights were flickering.

This is one the the best destinations that is available here on the south coast. This was my seco d time coming back here a space of a month, just loved the place frm the first time I came here. The first time was great, the rooms were wonderful and everything was just on point. My second.visit which is the very same one I am writing g about here was somewhat the opposite. The rooms weren't up to scratch bedding was torn, no porters on arrival to assist and the elevators weren't working. It was not one of their best weekends. But all in all I had a wonderful time and will come back as soon as I can. The staff are wonderful facilities are great.
