It should be a cool shop but there is no prices on most items and you have to ask at the counter al the time for the price. I didnt like it.
It is a large well stocked toy shop. Prices are fair. If they were better it would be 5 stars.
Lovely selection and range of toys. From Lego to paw patrol they have it all. Also competively priced. Could do with a faster check out especially for December when everyone is doing their Christmas shopping. Nice that it's not in a mall so in our out is quick
Fantastic toy store - has a wide range of toys you don’t find in regular toy stores. It’s a little out of the way but a good find. Some of the shelves were bare but the attendant mentioned they had just come from an exhibition so needed to repack.
Was a bit disappointed to see how much smaller the store is, but it looks a lot better stocked in the smaller shop. Was not happy to find that the product shown on their website as 2 in stock could not be found on the shelves. Originally the staff was helpful, but after a quick look at the shelf, the assistance stopped. Previous experiences was better though, hopefully they can step it up once more.
I have been buying LEGO online from Toy Adventures for a while, as I'm not from Gauteng, and it's been an absolute pleasure! Wide range at competitive prices. Prompt response, properly packaged and fast delivery every single time. Highly recommended!
This might seem like a large toy store, but the selection is very small. They had little to no helicopter or airplane toys. The staff are not trained in every area of the store, and we had to wait for someone to assist us. Items are fairly priced but some items are much more expensive than other toy stores.
Best place to shop for toys and figurines at off course the best prices. Sarah was very helpful on the phone when I called to find out if they had stock. She took my number and low and behold- called me back with great news! Great customer service with the biggest variety around.
Would never recommend this store. Walking around looking for a toy, I get a lady telling me to "ask for a dust bin and not leave my rubbish in their store". You know what I had half a bottle of yogurt, sure wont leave my rubbish in your store was raised with manners, also wont leave my money in your store. Better they close down for good. To turn around and say she offered. Please DONT TELL ME THAT IT WAS AN OFFER! When a person says "ASK FOR A DUSTBIN WHEN YOU ARE DONE AND DONT LEAVE YOUR RUBBISH IN THE SHOP" is not an offer. Secondly my drink was not even close to empty. IF I placed my empty bottle on a shelf it would have been a whole different situation and would understand her response. I however had my bottle firmly in my hand minding my own business trying to support your store. Third problem I have is when I phoned 30 minutes after the incident and spoke to Janowner or manager I was told there is nothing he can do because he was in the middle. Now you want to say you investigated with clients in the store does not add up. How can you have done any investigation with clients, yet 30 minutes later when I phoned Jan could not do anything because he was in the middle. To be honest....do what you need to with your business, ultimately it is your store to destroy. PS. I have the call records when I phoned the store to resolve the problem. Will gladly attach.
We have been loyaly supporting Toy Adventures for 6 years, but will have to stop because the store has just become so expensive. They use to have the best prices in LEGO and toys, but niw I can buy it at the same price at PnP and CNA.
