Really amazing birthday lunchtime celebration. Every aspect was perfectly handled. Stunning venue, helpful and very friendly staff, beautifully decorated tables and absolutely delicious teatime treats, puddings and a "to die for" cheesecake! Massive thanks to Bridget, the manageress and both Kathleen and Richard for a truly memorable afternoon.
A very cozy tea room with good food and good service. The Welsh Rarebert was superb. My wife had sweetcorn fritters that she said were superb. The Gin display was very interesting and what about the Champaign cork holder chairs :- A great time spent at Two Acres celebrating my mum in laws birthday.
They have really great coffee at an affordable price, and lovely baked goods too. It's an awesome venue for various functions, and includes a mani and pedis salon on the property known as the Birdhouse, as well as a little shop with jams, art and some clothes, amongst other things. All-in-all, Two Acres provides a pleasant dining experience.
This delightful gem in Hillcrest is a must visit. It has the perfect combination - a delicious menu, great staff/service and a beautiful location. They are also fabulous at hosting parties. You really can't go wrong at Two Acres. One of my favorite places.
On arriving, we were asked to sit outside as a private function had been booked indoors. No problem, except we requested blankets as the weather was chilly but they didn't materialise. Other than being cold and the service a bit slow, the food was great.
Beautiful gardens, small, cosy inside area. The service could do with some improvement and parking is limited. Quality of the food has kept us coming back, lots of gormet, healthy, light meal options as well as a small vintage furniture store adjacent to the restaurant. The tranquil, upmarket atmosphere ties in well with the horrendously expensive bill which makes it perfect for old folk and kloof mommies which congest the 'cosy' inner 3 by 4 sanctuary. Still a hella romantic place none the less.
A calming and relaxing lunch nestled under gigantic trees. Food was fresh light and delicious. Smoked salmon with avo on artisnal bread. Definitely befitting of a light and breezy autumn day. Rounded off with hot coffee, grilled pineapples and coconut ice cream. Service was a bit slow but we were in no rush.
Quaint place.. wonderful setting. Such a lovely place to spend your afternoon. Delicious food and the Gin tasting experience and info were very interesting
The food here is incredible. Please visit at least once to see for your self. I am in LOVE with the quiche. Salad greens and herbs come straight from the garden... yum!
Relaxing afternoon at their garden and restaurant. Service is quick and the food is good quality. Good place for a tea party and to chill. Selection is limited. You come here to relax.
