And the shopping experience has just gotten even better!!! The shop has been enlarged and allows for wonderful browsing of all the fabric. Great prices, great service, high quality fabrics.

I recently did my first online order, as we have moved from CT. It was seamless! They suggested courier guy which was also easy and quick. Such a relief! I have struggled to find cotton tshirting and just got an incredible selection from them at amazing prices, ofcourse! All done via WhatsApp. Thabo especially was so helpful - good, old fashioned service. I don’t think I’ll bother finding new fabric shops near where we now live if I can still shop at Union Rag. Yay!!!

BEST experience ever!!! Wow, just wow, I have never been to a store where the owners and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I walked in there and was instantly shocked by the crazy amount of range they had! The owner gave me his personal whatsapp number and I can just whatsapp in my order and collect when I am ready. Definitely a hidden gem in CT!

Was going to travel all tge way to Athlone gor my vynil but a friend suggested i go to them 1st. Found what i was looking for at a very affordable price

One of the worst experiences of my life. I was accused of being a spy for the fabric shop next to them because I apparently look like someone who works there and I wrote the prices down on my phone as one does when they sampling They do have a good selection of materials at reasonable prices though. Manager should check himself. Was not a nice way of treating a customer at all. I will never put my foot in the store again.

Beautiful material at reasonably good prices.  They make you feel at home by welcoming you. You can add them to whatsapp for specials. They have competitions running so it's like giving back to customers as well. Gotta luv this place

This is the best kept secret in Cape Town. Great fabrics at ridiculously affordable prices. Especially great for stretch fabrics. Check out their bargain aisles, you won't be sorry!! Great service and excellent knowledge of their stock. Loving their Instagram feed too!

Always good service, range and pricing.

Very friendly staff. Material selection is great and prices are good. Lots of options and materials that other bigger textile shops don't stock.  Would definitely recommend to others.
