If you go there for fishing purposes, by all means. The units are in dire need of an upgrade though and definitely not worth R700 per night. I've stayed over in much better accommodation for that price per night for all 3 of us where we at least had matching cutlery and crockery, as well as tea, coffee, sugar & milk that comes standard in the rooms. We were charged extra for DSTV unit 11, but the unit didn't even have a TV in, let alone a decorder. My parents that stayed over in unit 12 next to us and paid less, had better accommodation quarters and a TV and decoder, even though it wasn't working. Apart from that, our fridge were leaking water and its cables have been rejoined at least twice, not even mentioning that the fridge side freezes up the items placed inside. Then there's the issue of the outside lights burning all day and all night... Very unsettling.
It is so peaceful here. You only hear the birds singing and the wind in the trees
They are skelm.Would not recommend you to go there.Paid for 2 nights had to leave after 1 night for an emergency.Said they would pay my balance back on Monday.Called them Thursday to find out when they will refund me and said they are not going to.Didnt even have the decency to call me.

It's a beautiful place and very quiet
It was ok. We usually go there but it rained so couldnt do much fishing the dstv had no remote and a bat flew in the room but all in all we still like to go there. The facilties are always clean and theres lots of lighting and the lady is always welcoming.
Very nice campsite next to the river with large trees, friendly staff & great view over river and fields!
