Vaalwater Rivier Oord is geleë op die walle van die Magol Rivier, 2km buite Vaalwater op die Thabazimbi pad.
Die oord beskik oor 7 selfsorg chalets, karavaan park en kampeer area.
Die Funksie venue kan tot 200 persone hanteer en beskik oor n kontantkroeg en ligte ete restaurant wat daagliks oop is vir dagbesoekers.

n Spatpoel, speelpark, braaigeriewe en groot grasperke maak dit n lieflike plek vir gesinne om te onstspan. Swartbaars/Bass visvang vir die manne en netjiese akkomodasie vir die vrouens maak dit n lieflike plek om weg te breek. Paintball en Golf dryfbaan op die terrein beskikbaar.

Jaarlikse Veteraan Fees word in September hier aangebied, ons privaat museum is oop vir publiek gratis en meer ou trekkers as gewoonlik!

We had a great stay at the resort. The booking process was easy and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Chalets are right on the river bed and perfect for a fishing getaway. Plenty of good sized fish in the river and with the benefit of a nice tranquil environment. The Chalets have pretty much everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen with a Stove and utensils. And is just a short drive just outside of the Vaalwater town, should you need to get any supplies. Will definitely be booking a return trip in the near future. Dog-friendliness: The resort is also pet friendly and allowed us to bring our little puppy with us.
You would think on a river bank you'll find a georgeos place, although it's quiet the place is neglected, needs a lot of maintenance. If you're alone or don't care maybe this is the place to sleep over. Lots of old stuff maybe it still has meaning for somebody. Only the basics in the charlets. If you traveled from far and still a distance to go this, over and above a guest house, could have been the place to recover before continuing your trip.
Very nice place, friendly service good food and all well priced. Beautifully nested on the Mogol river. Interesting museum added.
Mainly a camping site with small chalets. Basic services included in chalet only. No thing to keep kids busy.
the only problem was that the hot water whas cold and the mat in the bathroom stinks due to the water please attend to that otherwise it was lekker man lekker thanks
