Marula Mountain Village

Great place. We have been going there for a few years now. The only advise I will give to anyone staying here, it so take your cutlery and household items list and go through it before your even unpack. If anything is missing from that list, let them know immediately because they will deduct this from your key deposit even if it wasn't you that lost it. We had one item missing from our list when we arrived there - didn't inform them because I thought they knew. We bought our own from the shops because we used it everyday and obviously took it home with us since we bought it. When we left, we got billed for the item that we never even had.

The attitude in returning the deposit which they have refused to do. My grandson unfortunately spilt water on the bed we immediately advised them they sent someone to clean however, a while later they collected the bed as the mattress was in a shocking state of cleanliness which was noted by the staff. They refused to refund the deposit stating that they had to clean the bed which as stated was in a shocking state of cleanliness. Two emails to convince them to refund & to date still no response. Nice resort with lots of activities for the kids during the long weekend. The restaurant has a wide range of food at affordable prices. The shop is well stocked. The A-block camping sites are level and paved while the B-block is slightly sloped and grassed. All the stands are a whopping 10mx10m.Unfortunately the pressure pump couldn't keep up providing water for the showers. A dripping shower isn't exactly comfortable. The activities happened around sparkling blue swimming pools. The covered warm swimming pool had a funny milky/greenish colour which seems to be the standard. There is a few Chalets.

Entertainment area, shop, restuarant and bathrooms excellent! All with in walking distance. Set up well planned. We enjoyed our stayHotel highlightsKid-friendly, Great value

Booked the campsite and we loved everything from the warm welcome, consistent checking from the staff if we okay or if we need anything,clean bathrooms,pools, beautiful playing area for the kids ,clean environment ,everything was what we expected and more ,definitely worth it and will be going back againService: 5/5

Not worth the money at all, Hot, aircons dont work. Pool isnt clean. Barman is unprofessional, the drinks are stored in plastic 5 l bottles. Staff is also unprofessional, sent a mail with a complaint no one has come back to me,Rooms: 1/5

Fantastic hidden gem just outside Bela Bela. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The facilities are fantastic. They have an excellent restaurant, even though they take a bit long. Feels like you are in a game reserve with the buck and zebras walking around. The only downside is the roads in the area have potholes but this is not the venue's problem. Highly recommend.

Best for a quick break out of town. The owners are friendly and very helpful in all kinds of way, whether it is the weather or a rope you need. Appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Always warm water. Great vibes from the pool side. They entertain the kids well. The shop has all the basic needs so you don't have to go to town. Thanks for a great camping experience.
