Vetho Villa, Camps Bay

Thoroughly unprofessional. It appears to us as though the place follows a 1 first get a booking during peak season at an affordable rate; and once a booking is confirmed, 2 hunt for a high rate via the various booking platforms. 3 If someone bites, simply inform the original booking that there was unfortunately a double booking. We are now left with having to find alternative accommodation at a higher rate. After calling, they attempted to inform us that it was the booking agent's error; however, this appears unlikely as it is almost two months after the original booking date. Unless you're booking on the day during peak season, we suggest you give this one a skip.

Quaint little guesthouse with an amazing view of the ocean and table Mountain. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, the fridge is decently stocked. Massive bathroom and great views. It's also ideally located, close to the local buses and the beach. I did not enjoy the breakfast at all, its was too plain and very disappointing.

I can’t rave about this enough! It was beautiful! What a memorable stay! 3 nights in such a stunning place. 220m from the beach and restaurants. Beautiful clean rooms with a pool and a lovely breakfast room. Quiet and peaceful. Great security. Parking too. A few rooms in the villa. I had the camps bay room on the upstairs floor. Huge balcony as big as the room with views to the beach, pool and table mountain. The bed was a great king bed with embroidered pillow cases. Super comfortable. Robes and slippers in room with a Nespresso machine and a minibar with water and some soft drinks. Breakfast was included and it was so nice. All set up for us. Fruit bowls, yoghurt, toast, croissants, juice, muesli, coffee and eggs to order as well. The staff are so helpful and go over and above to make your stay memorable. Only thing in the bathroom is there is no door closing off the toilet and shower from the room. Would be great if they added a door onto the bathroom. Spacious and wonderful! Will be back again!
