A wonderful resort, well-kept self catering units a short walk to a spectacular beach. Clean, safe and superbly relaxing! Offering sauna, heated pool, braai and gaming facilities it's such a hidden gem. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We spent a lovely week listening to the ocean, appreciating the manicured gardens and having a braai under the stars. While we don't have kids, this is the perfect place for families where the kids can play safely and have the best time. Villa Spa is definitely one of my favourite camping/caravaning spots. Campsites are spacious and level with power points. We had an ant invasion on our site but got it under control after a day or two. There was no braai at our site, but we had brought our own. The ablutions are immaculately clean and well maintained. Good water pressure and hot water. The pool area is really awesome with a bar, eating area, and deck loungers. The food is way overpriced at the bar/restaurant, with only a selection of toasted sandwiches to choose from. Just watch that bill though as you'll get an unpleasant surprise at the end. The beach is short walk away. Getting there you leave the resort via an access controlled gate and cross the railway line over a bridge. There is a very friendly security guard posted there. Never once did we feel unsafe. We have been there twice now, and we'll definitely go back there. Food & drinks: Very limited selection and Very expensive. Only takeaways available. Playground: A jungle gym, trampolines, and a sand volleyball court. Access to the trampolines is blocked until 8am. Restrooms: Immaculately clean and well maintained. Dog-friendliness: We did not have dogs there, but others did.
The park is a great choice for families. Each day, in the holidays they have 2 activities for the children. Yesterday was sandcastle building, in the morning, and Easter card making, in the afternoon. Weather has been exceptional and pool water warm. They have 2 pools, one for kiddies and a second for everyone else
Stunning camp site. Stayed here for a week and loved it. Extremely well maintained and staff are great. Highly recommended.

We came for the Mass Camp weekend, and stayed an extra day. The resort is beautiful: very well maintained, absolutely spotless facilities. Like camping in a bird park, with the sound of the ocean in the background. Rates are reasonable. Chalets and log cabins available for non-campers. A bonus for us — it's only half an hour from Durban North.
Everyone friendly, efficient and willing to help. Everything worked, place was neat and clean. A great place for a holiday.Rooms: 5/5
A well run facility. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Well tended pretty gardens to camp amongst. A secure and safe environment. Lovely ablutions which are clean and hygienic. Beautiful pool and large play areas for children. Many birds and a short walk to the beach.
This place is easily the best camping park that we've stayed in! The facilities and grounds are immaculate, safety is paramount and the owners are genuinely lovely and went out of their way to help us out after hours. If we had more time in SA we would stay here much longer as it is beautifully relaxing.
