Great pub in the historic crypt with lovely story about ghosts. Popped in for lunch, wasn't sure if it was dog friendly from website but saw two dogs just inside. Food choices are good with light bites, sandwiches and mains. Food came promptly and was tasty. Friendly staff. Dietary restrictions: Greene king app or website for allergies
Excellent service from our server ,food was very nice , chicken wings tasted as though they were boiled then fried so we're the least tasty , sausages the best ,their are steps in to the building, your in the cellar with amazing sandstone arches
Such a beautiful pub!! The food is great and also quite big and they have a nice variety of beers. Loved itFood: 5/5
So good Great drinks, good entertainment...thought the staff not too friendly but only a first impression.
The perfect venue in Chester to meet up my SPANISH students for conversation lessons on Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Ideal location. Free street-on park after 5:00 pm on Stanley Street, CH1 2LR, a 4 minute walk. Lovely enclosed room at the end. Quiet, cosy and ample, with comfortable seats. Great drinks and food, quick service and very clean toilets.
Unexpected quality of food it was excellent. The team were so lovely and professional they turned down the music as they were aware of our senior years. Enjoyed our few hours there. Well done lads
Awesome feeling and atmosphere. Its an okd crypt so full of character. Great choice of food and drink. Firendly service. Would recommend..check it out
Nice place to have a meal. Decent and cozy
We decided to pop in about 4.30 yesterday for food and a couple of drinks. Food excellent staff very friendly and attentive & the sticky toffee pudding and custard to die for. My only complaint was raisins on my pudding
Mostly go there early doors for a drink but have also eaten there. Beautiful building and well looked after. Friendly staff, good variety of drinks and nice food. The secret roof terrace is brilliant in summer
