Food tastes good. Drinks and food were quickly served. Smoking area of the restaurant was a nice save to eat in - it had a lot of fresh air, and music at a nice level. However after requesting the bill it took a long time to get the bill, and the machine to pay our bill.
We received good service from Bheki. The food was delicious and my children love the kids section. We went back for the second time and Monica was also very friendly. Definitely this restaurant is worth to visit.
Love the good things about Jimmy Jagger. It has a nice vibe. The snail starter was AMAZING!!! But I feel like the nachos filling was just on the top and nothing in between. But overall it was a great experience. The food is fresh
Windy outside and we were desperately looking for a lunch spot which was warm and smoke free. Jimmy Jaggers caught our eye and we venture forth. A brief wait and we were able to get a table for six. Ambled around a bit, strong accommodation for smokers on both the street side patio as well as the bar area including a fair portion of the restaurant itself. Found the staff to be very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Very pleased with their complimentary shooter for birthday patrons. Impressed with the selection of beverages behind the bar, whisky in particular, nothing outlandish or scarce, but a fair spread of Irish, American, blended and single malts inclusive of a small peat selection. They had plenty of other alcoholic beverages covering the gins, vodka, brandies etc., but paid it little mind, been there, done that, after all, all roads lead to whisky. :- We were not overly hungry and settled on the baskets and starters. Presentation, taste and quantity was on the button, prices a little up there but not untoward. Bathrooms were clean and well tendered. Only limitation, not wheelchair or infirm friendly. No lift that I could see. Well recommended.
A quick business visit had us stopping by Jimmy's for a reakfast. Very nice location, seated on a balcony overlooking the street with it's typical bustling weekend traffic. A basic breakfast with add ons really made for a delicious meal put together to your own preference and taste. Extremely affordable Nice vibe Fast & friendly service Definitely recommended!
Quitting is the perfect host. His staff are polite. The meal arrived 100% per order. Burgers were cooked to perfection. We were not left unattended for a minute. Impressive Parking: Have to walk upstairs... otherwise ideal Sunday lunch venue
The food was really good, perfect fillet and great spinach and chips on the side! My boyfriend had a cheese and bacon burger and the portions for the prices were excellent. The beer drafts are large and you can order wine by the glass, they play sports most days and we were surprised to see that the cricket was on. Really impressed! Great value for money!
We had dinner on friday 5 May 2023, very chilly and doors wide open with a strong draught oushing through the restaurant, we ordered 2 chicken schnitzels with mushroom sauce , onion rings and veggies of the day. Fillets looked like processed frozen portions.. mushroom sauce had a bad aftertaste so scraped that right off but it already tainted the chicken. Pumkin was good, warmish, chicken was hot and the spinach was ice cold and watery, I could eat the onion rings at least.. the manager checked in and asked if everything was “lekker” in a way that suggested he didnt really want an answer he didnt hang around to hear. that was by far the most dissapointing having to pay a decent price for substandard food.. not impressed at all. The place was not even bust possibly 10 tables .. seems more of a place to go for drinks.
We live in Parys and we are regular customers at Jimmy's. Today we ordered the pork tjops and it was tough and dry. The service was slow and we were disappointed.Food: 2/5
What an experience! It was the best breakfast wrap I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and accommodating shout-out to Brian with the blue hair. The menu is simple, but has a little bit of everything. Prices are very reasonable especially in comparison to the rest of the town. I would definitely go again. No way you will leave without a full tummy and a smile on your face.
