Old Imperial Inn Venterskroon

What a pleasant surprise! I never laughed so much in years! The staff are all beautiful people, and you feel immediately welcome and like family. The food is excellent and good priced. Value for your money! Everybody misses out if you don't experience Venterskroon Inn!

From the minute we arrived you are made to feel welcome. Our host JC entertained us and kept us well hydrated. The burgers and pizzas were well worth it too.

Stayed the night and enjoyed the ambience and food, basic out in the wilderness place but warm and cosy in the bar with a very friendly atmosphere!

Not dog friendly caffe ..It was a Sunday and we were starving ,but the restaurant closes at 4,hence had to travel all the way back .Perhaps for overnight stays it is better .

Very affordable restaurant, with very affordable drinks. Lots of animals around peacocks, ponies, chicken and lots of dogs. Extremely pet friendly and we were encouraged to take our dogs off the leash so that they could play. The JC Pizza is highly recommended and jam-packed with toppings. A true gem, and will definitely visit again!

A fantastic find while exploring the Vredefort Dome area. Totally unassuming as seen from the road, and then the ambience inside - wow. Great pub and atmosphere, good friendly service. Had we known about this establishment earlier we would have tried lunch too.
