Lovely space. The interior is stunning. Modern with a touch of luxe. The staff was super friendly. A definite must go to when you want a break from the hustle and bustle. Tranquil space with a great view of the river. Affordable prices, a limited selection on the menu for food, but the drinks are varied. Also great if you wish to try something new as they have a great selection of gin and offer gin tastings. Alcohol free options are also available. I really enjoyed it. Would definitely go back. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. Kid-friendliness: It's family friendly, especially with their outside setting, but I don't recommend taking kids there as it's more of a matured vibe, but if they love the outdoors, they can walk around the property taking in the scenery.
This is an absolute gem of a place, beautiful grounds to enjoy with your meal and cocktails! Hugo was an absolute legend walking us through out gin tasting, And the food is pretty good too! Definitely a great afternoon spot with a really great experience to boot.
We only had drinks here while visiting the animals and enjoying the day. This is a unique setup. It gives you the beach vibe from the sandy ground to the boat benches. Lots of fans to move the air about and the view is awesome. I really enjoyed my visit here and if I get a chance before I head back to Canada I will definitely come back and try the food. It looked delicious.
Great food. Great gin. Beautiful location. Inexpensive. They made a special vegetarian option for us - a wrap with avo and veggies with chips and delicious giant crispy onion rings. Recommend.

The G on V is a very nice place to go for a late afternoon or early evening gin and tonic cocktail in a very nice setting. The variety of cocktails are fantastic and wide enough to satisfy even the G&T connoisseurs. Strongly recommend this establishment.
We did a gin tasting please book beforehand. The experience was awesome, a little different than other gin tastings offered by other restaurants

We tried some of the signature Gin cocktails and oh my goodness .. I was so impressed. Chocolate and orange. Fynbos ... the unicorn with the candy floss. It was not just a feast for the eyes but also for the palette. This is a definite must visit place for anyone going to Parys.
Excellent food in a peaceful garden setting on the banks of the Vaal River. Good service from friendly staff.
