On the 19 March 2022 I ended up at Wesfleur hospital with severe pain.. Being wheeled in with a hospital stretcher not knowing what Is going to happen.. They looked and thought what is this woman doing here non the less.. painful body hot sweats.. Doctor assisted looked very confused however he managed to assist. Asked questions about pain and how past history experiences... I mentioned to doctor it's all about Gastritis / Gallbladder and one body goes complete numbness you become helpless but they made it work for me send me to a ward over night and decided I need to be transported to GSH for further assistance. Being there for the short period of time was amazing staff and doctors even the securities was on point. While getting me ready found moving out of overnight ward the sisters and staff came greeting Within minutes the am ambulance as there and they wished me well traveling home and getting medical assistance! Thank so much I don't have names but well done to Wesfleur Hospital
Poor service they don't care about patients been here since 6pm till now they haven't assisted me I am in pain .
In an emergency and in need of an ambulance. Don't call the hospital because they don't send out ambulances. Don't call the police 10111 or 112 because they can't even transfer your call to an an ambulance service. Call 10777 friendly calm staff, but they can't tell just how long an ambulance will take to get to you.
Certain aspects need to be looked at. Have effective procedures in place
3 weeks ago, my daughter went to the wesfleur day hospital with severe abdominal pains. They did some tests, one of which was a pregnancy test and it came out positive. They put her on a drip and told her that her womb is like that of a pregnant woman but that they cannot see any fetus on the scan. They told her that she might be going through a miscarriageshe was bleeding. I was baffled as to why they would send her home if she was going through a miscarriage. They then discharged her that same day without any medication. She went back to the hospital the following week with severe abdominal pains again. This time their pregnancy test came out negative. They send her home again without any medication and told her that they could see nothing wrong with her. That same week she went to a private doctor, who diagnosed a bladder infection. The pregnancy test he did showed a positive result. He gave her some medication and told her to tell the hospital staff to scan for a ectopic pregnancy if the pain persists. On Wednesday she went to the clinic in Mamre as she could hardly move because of the pain and bleeding. The sister there immediately contacted Wesfleur and told them that my daughter needs to go to Somerset hospital and that they should give her a referral and get an ambulance to take her there. She was put on a drip and was given some blood as she had lost a lot of blood. At Somerset hospital she was wheeled into theatre that same afternoon and the embryo/fetus was removed from her fallopian tube along with a section of the tube. She also received more blood as she had lost a lot of blood during the operation. I feel like screaming at everyone at that hospital. When she told me about the pregnancy, the bleeding and the severe pains, my mind immediately went to an ectopic pregnancy. What kind of medical staff are they that they could not think of that possibility??? I really feel like screaming someone's head off. Things could have been so much worse because of their ignorance!!!!! I thank God for His grace and His mercy.
Only the emergency room service is very bad, but otherwise OK. And also the long queue outside the hospital is a big big problem.
It's a government hospital. There's only so much one can expect. Considering the constraints of the public health system, this hospital functions remarkably well.
It's a government establishment what can I say but the staff and doctors are great they have their off days but it's human
Very long wait, unorganized, staff very despondent to help. Not very friendly
Could do way much beter
