Great experience and location. Perched an a hill with stunning views across the bay, which is a 5 minute stroll away. Enjoy the dolphin and whale displays as they make their way along the coast, from the comfort of the deck.or hammock. Magical place! The vibe is so chilled and down to earth, and the accommodations and amenities are very nice and neat. Felt immediately at home because we were welcomed like friends by the amazing hosts. 10/10 would recommend going here!

Really cool experience. Very hospitable owners despite having a newborn. We stayed in the Hobbit house with en suite bathroom. Great views close to superb beaches. Make sure you follow their directions as currently Google takes you via an impassable road unless you have an off road vehicle. Lamego restaurant serves really good food

Such an amazing backpackers! The rooms are clean and large. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The food is super delicious. And the views are AMAZING!! All in all the vibes are lekkerRooms: 5/5

Food was excellent and gorgeous views loved the sunset/sunrise nook in the dorms. Rooms were comfortable and very interesting layout. Staff was friendly and welcoming loved the communal style table for meals. It is still a work in progress but we really enjoyed our stay- WiFi worked well also. Really unique.

The most warm & welcoming experience! I highly recommend ordering the dinner & breakfast amazing fresh organic produce and homemade bread. The beach below is fantastic for swimming. It is a nice 10km round trip to Hole in the Wall all along the coast. Rahel & Aidan thank you for such a lovely time! We will be back.

The staff were so friendly, bed so comfy, bathroom amazing, warm water was easy to navigate and consistent. The hobbit house is such a unique layout which makes you feel like you're part of some sort of Lord of the rings sequel. Beautiful views from all angles, kitchen well equipped with utensils and ample space around the main house. Lots of exploring to do, caves and secret beaches. Overall great spot to add to a bucket list! We got to their premises with a 2x4 Opel Astra 1L but had to leave early before the rain came.

Great sunrise view while on the top deck , great activities on sight that helps build skill and improve nearby community's , very chilled and laid back homey environment, Great hiking guides,friendly and eager to help. Visited the hole In the wall, spectacular sight to see. Very far from nearby stores so make sure you have all you need if you planning on a long stay.

I got several recommendations from people to check out Wild Lubanzi on my way to cape town, so I booked for one night to check the place out and planned to head out the next morning again. On arrival I instantly regretted just booking one night and luckily was able to extend my stay for three more nights. Reason behind that is, that this hostel is for me one of a kind. I'm a big fan of creative work and the amount of creativity put in this place was amazing. Crazy cool wood work and really out of the box design on every end. The view from the tents and chill area are phenomenal and you walk 5 minutes down to a beautiful beach. Wild Lubanzi is still in the making and has potential to become the one top destination on the wild coast in my opinion. Lizani and her team really put the work in. I attached some photos and a video to this review, so you can check out what I'm talking about :- I highly recommend hiking the the hole in the wall, it is so worth it. As a photo- and videographer I didn't know where to point the camera and my drone first. don't take sweets for the local children with you though. Thank you guys for making our experience so remarkable! Will come back for sure and hope I can support you visually with one of the many projects you are doing. All the best!
