Absolutely pathetic service. My daughter wanted a pony ride, we called ahead to find out if the farm was open, which they assured us it was. When we arrived, there was absolutely no one to show us where to go. One of the workers eventually directed us to a gated building. The staff stood inside, staring at us for about 5 minutes, not knowing that we could see them. Eventually, we called out to them, and they reluctantly came to assist and asked us to wait while they found the person who does the pony rides. I asked her if they are open, she said they were. I asked why everyone was standing and staring at us, to which she apologized, but had no explanation. Needless to say we didn't even get to experience the farm, let alone the pony ride. We felt so uncomfortable that we just left. If I could give zero stars, I would, because my daughter is so disappointed and the service was disgusting.
Worth the trip to visit this small farm. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we will be back to visit the farm again. Interaction with the farm animals was great.
A really wonderful experience for the family. The farm layout is workable and not too intense for little kids or older people. The staff are fantastic, really pleasant and helpful. They are very easy going and understanding especially considering our little kids. I'll definitely be back.
Farm is well kept. Thoroughly enjoyed personal tour. Kids loved interacting with the animals. Enjoyed our warm drinks and the scones were divine ! Kids enjoyed playing on the jungle gym. Big play area with toys. Toys need an upgrade though and needs to be kept clean. Overall excellent experience. Will definitely be back !
The farm is smaller than we imagined, however they do have a wide range of lovely animals - ducks, geese, chicken, rabbits, tortoises, squirrels, guinea pigs, pigs, goats, donkeys & horses. Our guide was very gentle & informative & staff were friendly. The animals are well kept & cared for. They have the most uniquely coloured pony, her name is Cinnamon - she was certainly the highlight of the visit. As per the reviews I read, we were looking forward to the Bistro. However, we were told on arrival that there was a tea garden we could purchase sandwiches & chips from which we didn't even end up going to since there were hints of closing time at 3PM at the end of the tour & disappearing numbers of staff - so we took the hint & headed off ourselves.
Value for money especially with for a little kiddies outing. Protocols are in place. Very rustic so anybody with other expectations need not go, this is really aimed at a fun educational even outing exposing little ones to fa animals. Staff are super friendly & helpful.
What a lovely venue for a kids party/a family outing! The farm is clean, animals are healthy & Watson & other staff were so friendly. We were a large party of kids& adults; not sure who enjoyed themselves more We had such a wonderful morning spent at Winsome farm. Thank you all for accommodating us. We'll definitely be back!
What a disappointment. Couldn't get in through the gate to start with. A dog walker helped with the code. Overpriced and over rated. Staff very friendly and helpful. The "Bistro" is a total joke, a couple of wooden tables in the back garden of a "kitchen".the pony ride was all of 20M. We felt cheated. We won't be back.
Lovely little farm. Enjoyed the tour and kids were encouraged to touch and feed the animals. The tea garden was enjoyable as well - well priced drinks and scones were lovely.
A great experience for the kids. If you have a phobia of birds, I don't recommend this place. Chickens and geese everywhere.
