Love the facials here. Eunice and her team are attentive, and know how to pamper your skin so you look good. I also got their IPL to treat the stubborn sun spots that are age spots. Eunice’s managed to lighten them up after a few treatments. My skin says thanks!
Okay first off I absolutely love love love the ladies at Zen Aesthetic. The customer service is always on point. Now listen JAY is the absolute BEST ! My first service was a facial which was great. My skin looked flawless & I can’t wait to go back. She complimented me on my skin & told me how pretty I am. I really appreciated that. My second service was a Brazilian wax. This was my first time & jay made me feel very comfortable. The service was very quick & we laughed & talked through the pain lol. Before I knew it we were done. I appreciated everyone o the team so much for making my service so pleasant . As a black women you don’t get good treatment all the time . But these ladies made me feel very welcome. Thank you
Please read this to make a sound decision about coming to this place. I hope someone who is interested in spa packages/IPL can learn from my experience and that Eunice can take this as feedback to make her business better. 1. Always understand what package deal you are signing up for. When I first went to Zen Aesthetic through groupon for a facial, Eunice convinced me to buy a 6 spa package and 3 IPL treatments deal 6 spa packages = $700 3 IPL = $400. I paid for everything up front, but after a few sessions, I did not understand why there were additional charges I had to pay for. After my last appointment, I went back to my bank statements and realized I definitely overpaid for what I got. I called and was able to figure out the discrepancy and she was able to refund me. But this was a lesson learned that you need to document, double check, and understand what you are paying for. Because if I didn't catch this, then I don't think I would have been refunded. 2. Make sure you get the proper protection for treatments because IPL was an intense light procedure. I wanted to get rid of my dark spots which is why I signed up. However, I did not think I got the proper protection for my eyes. I got lasik eye surgery a few years ago, so my eyes are sensitive to light. During the procedure, I felt like I could have gone blind. Every time, my eyes were really red afterwards. For the last and final treatment, I asked for more light protection which they gave me eye sticker, plastic UV goggled, and a towel but I don't believe it was enough because I could still see the bright light through it all. I've done laser on my face before so I know that the proper way of protecting your eyes is through metal goggles, not plastic ones. In the end, I had to cry for her to stop and never again I want to try IPL. 3. If you are looking for basic facials/extractions and a spot to regularly go, it's not a bad choice. The staff is nice and it's in a nice location. The space is unique because it's in a store and I can tell that Eunice put in a lot of effort to make the space homey and spa-like. There's a lot of great korean facial products that you can purchase at the counter. I think she made the best out of the space. Overall, use my experience to make your own judgements. I love supporting small businesses and at first, I had a good experience with this spa, but after a few times of experiencing inconsistencies I have to give it 3 stars.
First time I walked in here was about 4 months ago and I’m glad I did. I knew absolutely nothing about skincare but I knew I wanted to take better care of my face due to acne scars and allergic reactions etc. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable especially for SF. They help customize my routine depending on my skin that day and even helped me buy products to start using daily. I never felt pressured to buy anything and you get a bit of a discount if you buy package deals. After just one treatment I noticed a different in my skin. It was a lot smoother and clean feeling. I even got one or two compliments from people who see me regularly that my face looks nice. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking about getting a treatment.
