This has truly been the best construction experience we have ever had! If you have worked with many people in the construction business, you know that after they "get your money," they are hard to find and slow to take care of any problems or issues that arise. Our experience with 1 Utah homes service was excellent and completely opposite to the normal construction experience! Derek, our superintendent, was one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and he was extremely attentive to our needs throughout the entire process. One thing that really impressed us is that he was almost always accessible and quickly returned our calls. Of course, there were a few hiccups along the way, as there are in any large construction project, but Lynn (the owner) and Derek handled those quickly, and with professionalism. You can tell that they really care about you and want you to love your house and your experience with them. Derek and Lynn made sure we were happy and informed along the way. We absolutely love our house, and feel like the work they did was the best in the industry. This was our second experience building and they definitely didn't cut corners like we saw before. Best of all is that it was finished on time and within budget. Their bid was very competitive--not the most expensive and not the cheapest--about in the middle. We did have some cheaper options, but we learned a long time ago, "you get what you pay for." We have many friends who went with the cheapest builder and seriously regret doing so now. We could not be happier and highly recommend 1 Utah Homes to anyone who is looking to build!
