A pretty nice little farmers market for Woodlawn. The highlight is Pleasant House Bakery and their wonderful savory pies. They also have a great cheese maker.

This was my first time visiting this particular market location after 7 years of relocation. The goal was to introduce my senior dad to his local market. Ellis farm was hands down the best booth (all the other vendors were friendly as well). My dad enjoyed the farmer selling wheat grass and also the booth with fresh goat, lamb and beef. This is a very small market so the biggest con is there is little to no variety of vendors. Limited variety of vegetables. There are no more than 20 booths with the majority selling salad greens, garlic stems, garden plants, common herbs. The host/women in the red tent lack customer focus and communication skills. We were just standing there while they discussed the snack they were eating...Like Hello! Address the customers then get back to your personal conversation. Unable to answer basic questions for my dad or tried to be short/sarcastic with responses. Overall, my dad enjoyed his first visit but its worth the longer drive to buy from larger and friendlier markets.

Always an amazing array of fruits, veg, and prepared items. The neighborhood is hugely lucky to have such a wealth of options every week during the summer. Don't miss Pleasant House Pies & Bread for a breakfast or lunch treat.

Good parking, convenient to buses. Good selection of bakery, cheeses, veggies, seafood, and butcher, even wine and beer. Not too much selection on brands, but you should find what you need there. Prices are okay. It is a neighborhood center.
