I lived in Ethiopia for 12 months in 2014. When I came back to Nashville I went to multiple Ethiopian Restaurants around town and Abyssinia is the most Authentic! I didnt realize it until later but my friends from Ethiopia who live in Franklin, TN actually bring back all her spices for her! Very small world! We are all connected. She's sweet, she's a true Ethiopian, and she does an incredible job making food! Make sure to say Thank You in her language! "Ameseganalhu" or Aw-ma-sek-en-naw-luo Enjoy!

Absolutely wonderful place. Service is awesome, food is awesome. Feels like you are at home. Highly recommend it!!!!

AMAZING food. So delicious! The service and interior is similar to what I've seen at other Ethiopian restaurants - which isn't necessarily what we typically expect in America from restaurants in general. That being said, the waitress was very friendly and attentive when we needed something. Will definitely be eating here again, and again!
