Curry goat, curry chicken omg. This place knows how to cook a goat. If a goat should happen to cross my path I'm gonna tag it and bag it and take it straight to this place. Never knew it tasted so good. Man and the sides.. umm, slap ya momma good. For real don't eat this stuff around your mother because she's gonna get slapped. Lol. Hope this place sticks around for a long long time.

I have never reviewed a restaurant before but I had to give this place a review. A co-worker and I showed up about 20 minutes before they opened and the owner was kind enough to invite us in early. He gave us a sample of sorrel juice and ginger juice. Both were really good but I chose the ginger juice. I'm glad I did!! On a hot day it really hit the spot. The jerk chicken is out of this world and they had the most tender goat curry I have ever eaten. I'm not a fan of plantains but their plantains, I could eat by the bucket. I can't say enough about how good their food is. I will not go to Jackson TN without eating at the Jamaican & African Cuisine.

Stopped by here on my way to Texas. Discovered this restaurant by mistake. But I'm glad I did. The food is banging. Make me feel like I'm back in Africa for real for real. Got to give me some more like Busta Rhymes!!!

Never disappointed. Good price for the big plate you take with you.
