The Bar-B-Q Shop

This place is really great for food and ambiance! I personally got the BBQ beef sandwich. It was well cooked BBQ. The others at my table we're kind enough to offer me their other types of food and literally nothing was disappointing. Especially try the potato salad, if you can even call it that. It was pretty much a sugary baked potato slices served cold with bacon bitts! Really a great place to eat!

Awesome service. It has a small sports bar. Great atmosphere. My husband loved the BBQ spaghetti, some of us had the pulled pork and BBQ nachos with chicken. All was good. The nachos had a cheese sauce...I prefer BBQ nachos with shredded cheese. The cheese sauce doesn't add much flavor but drowns out the BBQ a bit. One thing: if you like the blackened edges of BBQ, this is not your place.

Some say they are, but this place really delivers the best BBQ in Memphis. Seriously. I went to Tops & Central for good measure... and brought home the Rendezvous sauce... but I can say that I truly feel like Bar-B-Q Shop set the bar high enough. Make the Stop to the Shop!

We ate at the barbecue shop today in Memphis. Enjoyed the barbecue sandwich beans fries and barbecue spaghetti. Excellent food and service and would recommend this bbq restaurant

This place was awesome. Passed through memphis for work coming all the way from south Texas, and the ribs put Texas to shame. Tucker was a great server and knowledgeable even though it was his first night.
