My family and I ate here for the first time, and we loved it! Very friendly staff, great prices and awesome food. I ordered the half chicken plate, and the chicken was very juicy--not dry at all! We tried the nachos and they were great. Everyone's food was excellent! It's no wonder that this place has stayed open for 41 years!

Great BBQ place. I got a half chicken and it was amazing. It's hard to go wrong with BBQ but I've been to several BBQ places in Memphis (I'm from out of town) and this one is the best. It looks a little weird from the outside like you might think you're in the wrong place at first cause it doesn't look like anything and you can't really tell if it's actually open but once you get inside it actually is super nice. Clean and delicious.

Great family owned business. The food is great and the atmosphere is even better. I planned to get my food to go, but my daughter decided to play with the owner's great grandchildren. We went for the food stayed for the atmosphere. We will be visiting again very soon.

The food was everything you could want, and then some. I got the 3 wings plate (mild) with bbq beans and fries. Let me tell you...it was amazing! So good I ate everything in one sitting, even though I was full halfway through. And you can't beat the price of $10. Highly recommend!

No-frills food with hospitable staff. Our server, whose name I've already forgotten, was spectacular in the sense that he shook our hands and got our names. The food speaks for itself - the ribs were delicious and had a unique flavor that you probably won't find in many places across the United States, maybe because of the way they're cooked. The area isn't upscale, and the parking lot is gravel; so if those things upset you, you probably shouldn't visit this place.
