The food was awesome! We ordered the fried chicken and the meatloaf and it was the best fried chicken and meatloaf ever! All of the sides are good also! The biscuits and the preserves that come with every meal are so yummy!! Highly recommend buying more from the store behind the restaurant. The service is very friendly and food came out in a timely manner. I would definitely go back next time we were in Nashville!

You got one chance to make good first impression. Loveless Cafe nailed it. Fantastic catfish, both southern fried and Cajun grilled. Pit smoked turkey moist and perfect with the cranberry BBQ sauce. Sides were fresh and a true Southern comfort. Portions are huge and worth the price. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 12 minutes to get off I40 and experience the best southern home cooking away from home.

This is the place you think of when you envision Route 66 motels and cafe's of that era. The management of Loveless treat their employees right, and this pays off in spades as they treat you like family. Generally long waits but worth it. All the food is phenomenal and you get as many biscuits as your body can handle throughout the meal. Cute shops on property to pass the time as you wait for your seat. This is a must visit when in Nashville. I recommend getting a sampler plate and sharing with your friends and family.

What a great spot for some southern comfort food! They have some pretty great cocktails too. Some are mixed with homemade moonshine. You can choose from breakfast or lunch options, most of which include their homemade biscuits and 3 kinds of homemade preserves (YUM!). I had the fried chicken that the waitress suggested and I don't think I could've made a better choice.

When we arrived I was hungry, and a little disappointed that there would be a 40 minute wait. When we were seated the biscuits came out and I understood why so many people recommended the loveless cafe, and why so many people were willing to wait. Even after the amazing biscuits I was surprised by how good the breakfast was. I tried some of the ham and it was VERY saltly (for a northerner, you might want to stick with the “city” ham). Everyone was so nice. The shops nearby are great to keep you occupied while you wait! This is a Nashville must do!
