Ok, so let me start out by saying this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Nashville (not saying much though), especially for the price. I ate the food so quickly that I forgot to even take pictures (I got one picture)! The quantities were large and the least “Americanized” Chinese food I have tried in Nashville. Now, I’m sure that if you pick the more American items (like General Tso’s chicken) it would taste like any other place. We got the tofu with crispy beans (YUMMY), the string beans, a scallion pancake, and an eggplant in garlic sauce. All of it was fantastic and I licked the plates clean. Definitely a must for Chinese food lovers here in Nashville who don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a high end option but still want the best bang for their buck. Next time I come I definitely want to try their Peking Duck and steam buns and ma po tofu to see how authentic their other dishes are!

Diverse menu with family-style as well as individual options available. Food quality and taste is top-notch, and staff are friendly and helpful. If you're looking for traditional asian food, you couldn't do much better than Chinatown Restaurant.

The lettuce wraps, beef noodle stew, and baked fish are some of my favorites here. Fast service. Food is good.

I, a black man, went in for lunch with two collegues. One of them was of latin dissent, the other of asian decent. Waitress brings us our food which was very good. She came back a few mnutes later and offers a set of chopsticks to my asian collegue only. What kind of racism is this?? Because he is asian do you think he can't use a fork?? Because we are not asian do you think we could'nt possibly know how to use chopsticks?? Even he was offended and questioned her motive. #1starservice #keepyourignorance
