Chauhan Ale & Masala House

I've been been through the different curry options and apps. All are very good. Get the ghost pepper chicken as an app. When you walk in and catch your first whiff, you know you're in good hands. Cocktails are solid and staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Nice atmosphere and different spaces. It's possible to find limited street parking but there is a pay lot across the street too.

We went here for Sunday Brunch. The food and the atmosphere were both top notch excellent. I can't wait to return here and try the dinner menu. I highly recommend.

Honestly this place is perfection! The atmosphere, the decor, the service and the food are all exceptional! The prices are definitely in line with the quality given at this restaurant. It is a smaller space so conversations get a bit loud but that just means people are having a good ole time! I’ve sat at the bar both times and the service was no different than service at a booth or table!

Overall I thought it a very imaginative place. It had a great combination of Indian and Southern cooking. The visual (Food, Surounds) were top notch. Any negatives would be that it's a bit pricey and the food seemed to be a bit sweeter than other Indian food. Also, it's a bit loud for intimate conversation. Still I have it 5 stars.

My wife took me here for my birthday. The atmosphere is great. The staff is helpful. The food is not for me. The Iandian/Southern fusion thing didn’t work for me. I know this is an unpopular thing to say, but the flavors seemed forced. I was excited about trying a new place but I really wish we had went somewhere else. They keep a full house and a long wait- obviously not everyone shares my opinion. It is my opinion, the chef should stick to authentic Indian cuisine. Nachos is not something I want to find on a menu in an Indian restaurant. I think the food is pretentious and expensive. I won’t be back. There are much tastier and authentic offerings all over town. Disappointed.
