Taj is literally as good as Indian cuisine gets. I only know this because it was suggested as a place to meet with an Indian business partner who said it's as good as what he grew up eating in India. I used to be a die-hard Sitar fan, but even the buffet at Taj blows away everything on Sitar's menu.

My god, is this place good. Absolutely the best place to go for Indian food in the Nashville area. Their lunch buffet, although tight and cramped, has a great selection and I don’t think I found anything I didn’t like. If you want a more formal dinner, not a problem, at night there is a good ambiance and great potion sizes. Hands down the best in Nashville.

Amazing food with authentic delicious Indian taste with great service. I have always visited in weekends at dinner time and it’s usually busy and crowded. Lunch buffet is also equally good with lots of choices. Top notch Indian restaurant in Tennessee. I drive one and half hours specially to enjoy this food!

Came in on a Friday night. Service was great for a packed house. Food was amazing. Left my ole lady smiling and me happy full customers. Thank you.

A cozy Indian restaurant with decent food. The interiors are dark but the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food portion is generous and there's rice with everything.
