Mysore Palace

I've been to India and ate with the locals for a couple of weeks. The food here is pretty authentic but not much variety for a buffet. Not nearly as spicy as southern India. Only about half a dozen items and a few sides, soup and salad. For such a small selection, the price is a bit high. I hope to find better.

This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet. The restaurant was clean and spacious even though it was quite full. There was a big buffet of clearly labeled vegetarian items including dessert options. The food was delicious and fresh bread was also delivered to the table. Vegan and gluten free options were also available and labeled. My only "complaint" is that there did not seem to be much variation in the spiciness level. Medium/hot was the level of the day. I was glad i had water to drink! Everything was still delicious though. My boyfriend loved the pancake and i enjoyed the onion fritters with mint chutney the best.

I'm not usually a fan of buffets, but we stopped in for the Sunday buffet and were blown away. The food is vibrant and flavorful and there's enough variety that everyone can find something (or multiple somethings!) they will enjoy. Not just enjoy, more like savor.

The owner is very professional and welcoming. Great service and hospitality. The ambience at the restaurant is really good and so is the food.

So delicious. Tons of vegan and gluten free options. Would eat here everyday if I could!
