Thai Phooket II Restaurant

Found this place hoping to replace the one where I used to eat downtown.... Food is good amd service was decent so decided to get take out from there since i did not have time to eat in.... Ordered 2 entrees.... Got charged a $4.00+ service charge for take out.... Expected a $25.00 bill... Received a $30.00 bill.... Will NEVER order take out from there ever again.....

My hubby and I have been eating here for about 2 years. The food is usually pretty good and the service is mediocre. Keep in mind that I order the exact same thing every time, so I know exactly how it's supposed to taste, smell and look. The last time I ordered my food to go it didn't taste, smell or look right. It was like someone forgot the recipe that day! So I had to drive back to let them know that it wasn't right. Instead of the guy apologizing and offering to remake my order he goes on to say they have been making it the same way for 9 years. I felt that he was rude and didn't care about my complaint! He asked me what do I want him to do! With that being said I'll probably go to the one close to downtown next time!!

I have dreams about their lemongrass tom yum soup. The pad thai is pretty good and everything else I’ve had off their extensive menu has been incredible as well. I’m not extremely well versed in Thai cuisine but this place hits all the right notes for my personal palate. If I’m close to here, there are no other options. This place is the best.

Service was pretty good. The owner (I assume) remembered my friend from the year prior, even though he only comes in during the holidays. Though they were friendly, drinks were empty towards the end of our visit and weren't refilled. Food was good. My dish came out only warm and was a little dry with all the rice, but I enjoyed the pineapple that was included. I think next time I'll try one of the noodle dishes instead of rice. Also tried some of the soup and crab cakes, which was all great. Reasonable prices and big portions. I'll be back.

Best Thai food in Nashville. Hands down the best. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly. This is authentic Thai , and the servings are big. The summer rolls are the bomb. The ingredients are very fresh. Don’t let the outside of the restaurant fool you. I never stopped here because it looked like a hole in the wall. That was a major fail on my part. I’m coming back soon. Great restaurant.
