Log Cabin

Excellent service, great food and a hometown feel. This was actually our second time as the food was so good when we stopped on our trip down, that we had to stop on our way back home. The first time we were here I got the French dip, which was both flavorful and tender. A lot of places the beef comes out rubbery or flaky, but not here. My friend got the fried green tomatoes which were also very tasty. This time I got the chicken fried steak and was not disappointed. The gravy was seasoned well and the cutlet was tender and the breading crispy. The green beans were slow cooked the mashed potatoes homemade and the Apple crisp delicious. Don't miss this place!

Great country cooking. First time eating here as I am parked across at the Pilot. Had the chicken and dumplings which are homemade and fresh. Mom couldn't have done better. Friendly family atmosphere with a number of local families enjoying dinner together.

Traditional southern cooking and friendly service. Large menu will accommodate all palates and very good desserts, pies, cakes, cobblers - always great variety and fresh ingredients. If you like hot tasty food you need to stop in.

We came down to see Loretta Lynn place. We ate at the log cabin are first night there and loved the food. We got the chicken dinner and we had to take it with us. The prices are good for what you get and the food was so good . There fried green tomatoes are good to. We ate there the second night and what we got was good to. And again had to take the leftover with us. Good home cooked food. And very good service to. Well worth the stop. Thanks from The Ide family from Columbus Ohio

Log Cabin is pretty good. The food is good for the most part and the service is the same, good for the most part. I really prefer the BBQ place across the street but we meet family at this exit often and they enjoy LC more than BBQ so that's where we go. The pies are the real highlight of the place though so if you go, save room for dessert.
