Granite City Food & Brewery

Went for the brunch buffet and it was excellent. We were seated on time with our reservation which pleased me because it was a very crowded mother's day afternoon. The food was plentiful despite the crowd and everything was hot. Made to order omelettes were even done quickly and specials on the mimosas! I can't wait to return.

I've been here plenty of times and experiences have been pleasant. Food is good and ambiance is enjoyable. However, the last time I went was unpleasant. The food was fine, but service was incredibly slow. Worst of all was the men's restroom. The bathroom was disgusting. This isn't something I would typically complain about, which tells you how bad it was. They seriously need to clean things up before I consider returning.

We have been coming here for a few years now and this place never disappoints!! The food is fresh and always good!! The service is great and the beer is brewed in house!!! There is always something interesting to try on the menu. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big.

I already wrote a review on Yelp, but was so impressed that I wanted to make sure everybody sees this over here too. It's rare that a restaurant gets a ton of glowing online reviews, and here to help their cause with some honest feedback based on my experience. I'm a bit of a nomad (live on the west coast by way of NY) and heard that the food and drinks are fantastic. I'm really picky when it comes to service, and while some of these reviews suggest otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised! Nobody likes to wait for lunch, and my food was fast and absolutely delicious. I likely won't be back, but it's only because I live on the other side of the country. Keep doing what you're doing gang, you guys are fantastic!

Not speedy or inexpensive, but always delicious, generous portions. The decor is pleasant - rustic. The dining room can be rather loud from conversations and servers clattering dishes during busy lunch and dinner times.
