I have been to Josephine numerous times and have always loved the food.  The menu changes daily, but their favorites, like the brussel sprouts and beef cheeks are always their, albeit with seasonal preparations.  Their cocktails are refreshing and the decor is cozy and dark. I especially love the little surprises they have. One year on Valentine's Day they put an invitation with the check to have a free after dinner champagne on their patio. They also hand out little packs of molasses cookies when you depart.

Loved this place. Cocktails were awesome. Food was awesome. Vibe was awesome. Our waitress was awesome. Had never heard of Josephine before and ended up there because of my in-law’s anniversary dinner and I’m so glad I did. One of my new favorite spots in Nashville.

10/10 really hoping to come back for the chef’s tasting menu. have been here twice now and it’s been great both times. get the beef tongue you will NOT regret it. I try to take pictures of a lot of the places I eat at for reviews but haven’t been able to here because I can’t wait to eat. We have had duck confit, papardelle and the rabbit and all are really wonderful. great understated ambience- make sure you get the cookies on the way out!

We ate there for brunch today. The service and sticky buns were great! For my entree I ordered the omelet with veggies, which came with a side of greens and shoe string fries. The fries were seasoned well and the greens were good. The omelet was ok, I wished there were about 4x the amount of veggies than there were. My husband had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was so thin, but his meal was delicious!

We had dinner at Josephine last night for Valentine's day. It was our first time. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared. Cocktails were made brilliantly and service was good. Great place for a date or special occasion.
