Academy is my favorite store ever. Expect this one. I have never had anyone follow me around the store. Didn't ask if I needed help. Just literally followed me  even to register. Academy is amazing.  But this store sucks. I will drive across town.

Great staff at the gun counter. They were Very helpful and made the entire rigorous experience pain free. I, for one, recommend this store for all your sporting needs.

Very uncomfortable about this Academy Sports + Outdoors... I went in the store looking for a very high standard hiking pack (which they do not carry) so casually browsing the store for quite sometime, the management began to obviously make their presence in a very close proximity and in a very observant persona just radiating from his stature. Made me and my girlfriend so uncomfortable that we left the store we almost started to feel uncertain of ourselves

This store has just about everything for outdoor activities. I like to browse but most items i am interested in seem to be higher priced than competors. Helpful employees.
