Alamo Rent A Car

Everyone at the Birmingham Airport Alamo counter was so polite and helpful, both when we arrived and when we dropped off our vehicle. In particular, Synethia at the counter was fantastic! While documents from one customer were printing, she move that customer one spot over, greeted the next customer, asked the necessary questions, and gathered ID / credit card. Each customer was in and out of there in about 10 minutes. Alamo is now my preferred car rental agency.

Very friendly employees! My flight was 8 whole hours late and I still had a vehicle readily available to rent. The young lady that helped was very friendly and quick. When I returned my vehicle, I was moving rather quickly as I was cutting it close and didn't want to miss my flight. The gentleman that was there for the return was friendly. I was a little short with my responses as I couldn't really chit chat because I needed to catch my flight. He followed my lead and was moving as quick as I was. He continued being jovial and never got offended. He moved right beside me asking his questions as I was making my way to the airport. He didn't skip a beat! Man, did he understand the assignment!! Kudos to him!

We originally had an Alamo rental from/to Atlanta. When we were driving close to Birmingham, it developed a slow air leak in one of the tires. We tried our luck, pulling I to the return lane at the Birmingham airport Alamo station, wanting to discuss our options. Long story short - minutes later we were back on the road in a different vehicle even the same make and model, with no hassle and no problems at all. Awesome customer service!

Excellent and fast service. I missedy connecting fly due to weather and my flight got there late. They are supposed to close at midnight but we're still open when I got there at 5 minutes till midnight. I said no problem. They usually hang out whenever flights delayed. I was super happy with everything. The car was super nice and did well.

Our flight into Birmingham, AL was delayed and the staff stayed open until we arrived. They were very friendly and helpful. I did not have any issues with my vehicle being given away like past experiences with outer car rental places. I will continue to use Alamo for all my future car rentals.

While the customer service was excellent, the car itself had two problems: 1. The driver's seatbelt required twisting the belt to get the latch plate in the buckle. 2. When using the windshield wiper fluid, the wipers did not do a good job at all clearing the fluid from the windshield.

Booked through Costco and found the best rate from Alamo. I arrived at BHM airport and was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable attendant. She processed our paperwork in a timely matter. Received a brand new car also!! Had it for 10-12 days. Also the price for Alamo to refill the car was almost .30 cheaper than gas stations in the area. When I returned the car I was greeted by a young man that asked all the right questions and directed us to the check in for our departure. Thank you Alamo for a pleasant car rental experience!

Car was great. There was nobody at the Alamo counter, so we had to go the national counter, not a huge deal. The people at the National counter were nice, the car was very nice, nicer than expected actually. My main complaint is that we booked on Expedia, and once we got to the counter and actually went to pay,the price ended up being significantly more after all the fees and whatnot. I'm talking $200-300 more than the original booked price. So beware of that, but otherwise it wasn't a bad experience.

Have rented from the Alamo location before but I have to say that the service this time was great. It was Thanksgiving weekend and I expected it to be busier than usual. We got to the counter and Aleiyah greeted us as she finished up with her customers. It was such a smooth transaction. Then Mason was in the garage to meet us with the vehicle we were getting. Upon return Nick the assistant manager helped us and we were on our way. Awesome and friendly staff. Will def rent from the location again.
