I booked my truck rental online a week prior to pickup. Upon arrival, I was notified that they didn’t have the size I reserved, but I got a free upgrade. Customer service was great and I was in and out with my rental in no time. I gave it 3 stars because my truck was dirty and I had to go back in to have damages notated on the truck that wasn’t already recorded. I highly recommend that you confirm all information is correct and notated before driving off.
I wish I could give Robert Broome 10 stars! He picked up the phone every time I called with so much enthusiasm and knowledge about his inventory. Once I arrived he made it a seamless experience for me. Not to mention he knew I was going to arrive a few minutes late and waited for my arrival. He should receive employee of the year! Thank you soooo much for your hospitality and showing me why I always make the best choice selecting Budget Rental car.
Thieves! And less than professional. It is always troubling, when companies that are seemingly thriving, wants to gilt customers out of a dollar. I rented a vehicle from this place. Return the vehicle two days early, to their airport location, which ultimately the preferred location. Only for them not to refund the additional days. Greedy! Least to say, money hungry. I will never afford you the opportunity of my business again! Horrible!
After a horrible experience and being told that I'm "a risk," the day before by Enterprise Car Rental who I'd sworn by for over 7 years and used from a travel CNA all the way up to a travel RN, and being told that Alamo, National, nor Enterprise would rent to me based on someone else's not even the customer behavior and the fact that I called customer service to inquire about policy because of just rented from them in July and the night before, and had a future rental set for the 24th of September, I thank BUDGET for stepping up and making me feel like a human, a citizen and not an illegal attempting a crime. Thank you for helping me. Thank God for my parents still being alive and helping me keep a cool head and calling BUDGET! You've gained a customer for life!
Good atmosphere never have a problem when I come rent a car
They are absolutely amazing there. The cost was very adorable. I'm going to be honest. I was using enterprise rent car. I believe that they were like slice bread. I was so wrong. Be able to pay your deposit and they take your cost of the rental out after you bring the car back. So worth it. You must give them a try if you haven't yet. Call them today.
Rented a CAR, yes, a car here!! Not just trucks. Car was waiting for me at my reserved time. No delay. Return was seamless. In walking distance of a couple of repair shops if you need a rental during repair.
Woman at car rental desk at Cahaba Park location on 280 was very unfriendly from the time I entered the building , she unlocked door from inside without opening and saying hello .The whole visit thereafter with me was very rude and attitude driven . Would never rent a car from that location .
I don’t know where to begin but this was the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. They called me about a week or so before my rental to confirm it. At that point, I said I had a debit card. The local office representative said ok. The day I got there CHRISTMAS EVE before leaving for our vacation, they THEN tell me neither of my cards will work. This would have been helpful information when they called. The representative was rude about it and did nothing to try to help. I then realized I had a debit card linked to my business. She let me use that but NOT WITHOUT AN ENTIRE ORDEAL. I now had to Uber it to the bank to get a statement— the bank gave me a statement and transaction report. Then she needed an Alabama power bill. Because of the COVID pandemic, me like millions of others are on a payment plan with AL POWER. My power is on but runs a month behind. She wouldn’t take it because it shows disconnect notice in the top right. Next I showed her my lease renewal — that wouldn’t work. Finally, she took my cable bill. Spectrum still sends me a $25 bill but I haven’t had their service is a year. But that worked for her Two hours later, I’m on the road. More than $300 to rent a Toyota for 5 days. Get back from vacation to which she tells me I should vacuum and clean the car because they are gonna charge me $250. So, I paid almost $60’a day for a rental no insurance just the car and I’ve gotta vacuum it too! But it wasn’t what she said, it was how. Yelling that she doing her job and I’m looking like you’re yelling at me. Jazmine was rude and I will never use Budget again
However you need a great credit score and a major credit card or something else there's so much paperwork like bank statements that have to "qualify" which is why I didn't end up choosing their product. Felt it was not fair everything has to be the same address as our drivers license and my apartment is a secondary address since I own a property and just chose to be closer to work. Thought there would be something the company could have offered like a corporate consideration since I am a first responder during the Covid crisis.
