I reserved a car well in advance at this location. When I showed up for pick up, I was told unapologetically there were no cars available. I asked when one would be available. He said he didn't know but would add me to the "stand-by" list of which I could already see 5 or 6 names. Also, the point of a reservation, is to not be on a standby. When I asked if I could get a car another location, he said "maybe but probably not". And told me I should just go online, cancel and rebook somewhere else, which as I just learned doesn't guarantee me a car anyway apparently. The employee made no effort to find a solution, correct anything, or even simply apologize for the situation. In the end, he told me they would call when they got a car - I never got a call. And I had to scramble to find another option because, shockingly, I needed a car when I had actually reserved one for. It became a very stressful day. So Hertz, in the future, do not book reservations you can't follow through on and upgrade your customer service training.
Bait and switch tactics. I tried to save a few bucks and go with the "managers special". When we showed up after a long flight, they said it was unavailable and that I would need to PAY for an upgrade. This is AFTER they took all my driver's license and credit card info. I asked to cancel, and they talked to each other behind the counter, one of the guys said I wasn't "with it". At best, the place is poorly managed. I left and went straight to Enterprise. Where everything went exactly as expected with real professionals. Totally worth the paying a little more.
Worst customer service ever! Been calling the location for 2 days and no one answers! My card has been charged several hundred dollars for a 2 hour rental! The lines of communication don’t exist. I spoke with a customer service agent and was promised everything would be handled and notated, my card has been charged 3 more times since. I would love to speak with a manager if someone would ever answer the phone. If you want great service look else where because Hertz isn’t it!
A "soft credit check" to rent a vehicle already paid for?! When asked why, the employee could not give me a legitimate reason his reply was I don't know. Stay away from this particular facility.
Understaffed, the one person working the office was overwhelmed with the amount of customers waiting to pickup reserved rentals. Some were irate because their vehicle was not ready as promised. I was just there returning a vehicle which went well.
Even though it was early morning the greetings was energetic from the staff what a great way to start our day!! Positive energy always make you remember a place once visited. I must say WE appreciate HERTZ from check in to check out!! The Parker Family will Most definitely return to THIS location for future rentals
Didnt have the vehicle we asked for so we upgraded. Guy couldn't get a corporate code to work and lied saying we could do that later. He waited 45 min to sign the car in putting us over the time limit. Dealing with corporate on phone is a pain in the back side and not getting far there with the overage that was charged to our card. Would not recommend and will never use again.
Best rental car place I experienced. Last 2 times I booked there were able to put me in a nice luxury rental for our long trips.
Will book your reservation, but they will call you right before pickup time and cancel your reservation. Due to "no cars", leaving you looking for a car somewhere else.
Terrible online reservation handling.. Reserved a vehicle online and they had nothing available. Then wanted to up charge for a manager's special for $15 extra per day.
