I have ordered screen printed shirts three different times from "the girls downstairs" at Alfreds Sport Shop. The first time, when they did the screen printing in house, everything came out great. The second time, (farming out the work) the screen print sizing on the back of the shirts were wrong. Mistakes happen and we came to an agreement (they charged me a little less because of the screw up.) I was A-OK with that. The third, and last time, I ordered $1200 worth of screen printed t-shirts and sweatshirts. During the initial order I expressed my concern about the sizing, siting last times error. I was assured it would be correct. When I was emailed the proofs, the sizing information was not there (unlike the first two times I was emailed proofs.) Again, I expressed concern about the sizing. When the work was done, the sizing was off, and also the ink was blurry and blotchy. I went back in and brought it to the owner's attention, and he said he would see what he can do. Today I got the call that he (the owner) thinks everything looks OK, and offered me a 10% discount. That was all he could do and I should have been more specific about the sizing. Really? I only mentioned it twice? I told him to keep the 10%. My screen printing business will no longer be going to Alfreds Sport Shop. I guess blotchy, blurry, mis-sized printing on a $1200 order is not a big deal to them. If you are looking for good quality screen printing, I suggest you go elsewhere.
